End the debate about cov tech. Make route tech and route elusiveness valuable. Why shouldn't it be valuable to a player running routes!?

Absolutely. It's the only reason that undersized, slow white boys like Steve Largent became NFL Hall of Fame players...

Is this because of low coverage tech?

The receiver didn't make any cuts or changes in the route. It looks more like an awareness issue. The corner didn't see and/or react to the ball being passed.

He failed his roll? Maybe I'm totally off base here, if so I will be laughed out off the forums. But I assumed checks are constantly being made, a random number is generated , and then those random rolls are modified based on your skills and SAs(and your opponents'). If that's the case, showing one example of a player being an idiot is pretty much meaningless, no?

I was just curious if it was a coverage tech issue since he has high awareness that didn't seem likely to be the issue
