Idea: Change the ability to earn/restrict SuperStars to a FLEX cost versus the "earning" and "restriction" limit.

Instead of "earning" SuperStars through the system of building and running non-SuperStars, allow SuperStars to be purchased for an increase FLEX cost.

Current FLEX cost:
Tier 1 = 150
Tier 2 = 100
Tier 3 = 150

Change to the 150% increase in Salary that Superstars command:
Tier 1 = 375
Tier 2 = 250
Tier 3 = 125

Raise the Boosts costs as well or if it's easier to code, just Front End those costs into the purchase cost of the SuperStar and adjust higher the initial costs.

As a Team Owner who doesn't have a multi-account, I've always had an artificial restraint.

The game is 39 seasons old. That's 2000 days or over 6 years.

Is this really that radical?

Plenty of other things that could be changed or added. This is not 1 of them, do not touch

I do not like this.

Now, if you wanted to have the option to pay a heavily increasing flex cost for additional S*, that could give whales an option while leaving us normal joes alone.

Because no one has multi-accounts....

You could have both systems.

I agree with the suggestion. New users are at a supreme disadvantage because they start out with 0 ability to have star players. Vet users have their own star players, other vet user players, and then multi accounts to get them even more star players. I've seen rosters with 12 super star players on it. How is a new team owner supposed to compete? Instead they get destroyed every game and quit- never to return.

So...

2 sets of superstars you can have, one set you earn through playing and the superstar costs a normal amount, the second set you buy at 3x the cost of position initially. You can buy a second superstar of the same level for the increased price provided you don't have 2 of that level of superstar already.

This makes max superstar number at 6 per player, 3 free and/or up to 6 paid.

There is always the ability to recruit star players. Star players are not the reason teams get destroyed. Lack of effort is more like it. If new teams take their lumps and learn from them they can be competitive fairly quickly. I’m not a fan of pay-to-win. The strong teams will just get stronger.

Let's be real, the new user could have an entire roster of superstar players and would still get destroyed by the old guard.

How about having a system setup so that if you have won a championship you get placed in a league with others how have also won. And allow players who have never won one be placed in a league with similar players whom have not won also. This would allow a greater chance for more players to win at least one championship. I always get placed with teams that have so many superstars on their rosters it just seems hopeless to ever win. I'm not sure how you would do this but make leagues based on talent levels so more competition. I know i suck at this game but it would be nice to not get beat by 30-50 points every game.

There's currently 9 leagues, with generally one league per tier. Don't see much wiggle room there.

This loops back to the conversation about CPU builds.

If there was a CPU team with 12 Super Stars, it would get destroyed?
