The too early season predictions. Good to be back as it's been awhile so it may take a week or two game wise to get up to speed on who's who now.
1. Running Gag - Won the championship last season and have a few Casual Pro games along the way. Like the ole saying goes "to be the best you have to beat the best."
2. Magua's Revenge - Won 13 games last season and of the three losses only one comes from the division...plus they beat RG so expect another top finish here.
3. Not Fast, Just Furious - Like many of you who wrote in on the votes that I should be #1. Baby steps to see how the team performs at the peak of casual.
4. Vancouver Gorillas - The Gorillas have been in Casual Pro many times (if my memory serves me right). Still, they got in the playoffs with a losing record but expect better things this season.
5. Tlingit Warriors - They did win Regional Pro Casual Elite #1 last season but my team was six levels below most of their players. They'll need to show me something early if they are to make a push for the playoffs. mcmunson has been here before so he knows what time it is
6. Chile Chupacabras - Got to seven wins to make the playoffs but appears right now they have some roster spots to fill out the roster to get them back to the promised land.
1. Charlestown Chiefs - The Chiefs are part of Casual Pro but they've never won a title. They had a chance last season but fell a bit short against RG. Expect them to make another push to that elusive title.
2. Sofia Spiders - The Spiders have won recent Casual Pro golds in seasons 66, 69 and 71 and have been a force within the league for a while. Look for them to go after another gold this season.
3. Chocolate Blaze - I've had a few dots on this team in seasons gone by. They slide into the playoffs with only six wins but nearly pulled the upset of the Chiefs in the first round before falling by two. Look for a better run from the Blaze this season.
4. Manhattan Midnight Warriors - Blue has had his team here previously and he'll be charging ahead to get a playoff spot. Did not have a ton of competition last season but did lose to the Warriors in the semi finals of
5. Grand Rapids River Rats - Came up with the River Rats from the ole rookie leagues so I'll be pulling for these guys.
6. Scott's Turfbuilders - Struggled a bit in RPCE #1 with only eight wins. Currently, those eight wins represent more than the dots on the roster...six. Going to be a 255-0 season if they can't fill it out or swap (doesn't look viable) with another team from regionals.

Gary Short, DE, Vancouver Gorillas. Gary led the league with 20 sacks on the season and with some additional passing season that 20 should inflate substantially.
