The too early season predictions. Good to be back as it's been awhile so it may take a week or two game wise to get up to speed on who's who now.

1. Running Gag - Won the championship last season and have a few Casual Pro games along the way. Like the ole saying goes "to be the best you have to beat the best."
2. Magua's Revenge - Won 13 games last season and of the three losses only one comes from the division...plus they beat RG so expect another top finish here.
3. Not Fast, Just Furious - Like many of you who wrote in on the votes that I should be #1. Baby steps to see how the team performs at the peak of casual.
4. Vancouver Gorillas - The Gorillas have been in Casual Pro many times (if my memory serves me right). Still, they got in the playoffs with a losing record but expect better things this season.
5. Tlingit Warriors - They did win Regional Pro Casual Elite #1 last season but my team was six levels below most of their players. They'll need to show me something early if they are to make a push for the playoffs. mcmunson has been here before so he knows what time it is
6. Chile Chupacabras - Got to seven wins to make the playoffs but appears right now they have some roster spots to fill out the roster to get them back to the promised land.

1. Charlestown Chiefs - The Chiefs are part of Casual Pro but they've never won a title. They had a chance last season but fell a bit short against RG. Expect them to make another push to that elusive title.
2. Sofia Spiders - The Spiders have won recent Casual Pro golds in seasons 66, 69 and 71 and have been a force within the league for a while. Look for them to go after another gold this season.
3. Chocolate Blaze - I've had a few dots on this team in seasons gone by. They slide into the playoffs with only six wins but nearly pulled the upset of the Chiefs in the first round before falling by two. Look for a better run from the Blaze this season.
4. Manhattan Midnight Warriors - Blue has had his team here previously and he'll be charging ahead to get a playoff spot. Did not have a ton of competition last season but did lose to the Warriors in the semi finals of
5. Grand Rapids River Rats - Came up with the River Rats from the ole rookie leagues so I'll be pulling for these guys.
6. Scott's Turfbuilders - Struggled a bit in RPCE #1 with only eight wins. Currently, those eight wins represent more than the dots on the roster...six. Going to be a 255-0 season if they can't fill it out or swap (doesn't look viable) with another team from regionals.

DOTS TO WATCH

Boozy Patton Jr., QB, Sofia Spiders. Coming over from the Ethiopian Camel Snackers where he won MVP in the West as the dot threw for 8,818.5 yards and 70 TD's (did have 31 picks).
Ghost Of Bumppo, QB, Magua's Revenge. Bumppo came in second in the MVP race in the West having thrown for 4,402 yards with 41 TD's (14 picks).
Brought their F'n Toys With Them, QB, Charlestown Chiefs. Brought won the MVP of the East as he chucked the ball for 4,048.5 yards with 39 TD's and only nine picks.
Dajjal Freemaeson, RB, Sofia Spiders. Dajjal was the only RB to hit the 2,000 plus rushing yard barrier last season (2,321 yards) and also led the league with 25 rushing TD's).
Gary Short, DE, Vancouver Gorillas. Gary led the league with 20 sacks on the season and with some additional passing season that 20 should inflate substantially.
Warschau Polen, CB, Running Gag. Warschau is the returning MVP from out West as the dot recorded 41 tackles, 19 PD's and seven picks.

More to come once the schedules are announed.

Thanks MK. Awesome to have you and your writeups back in Pro.

BTW, Chiefs did win Gold in Season 36, but damn that was a long time ago (and a different team ID#). The owner let his team ownership lapse at one point so we lost a lot of our original trophies, but I have them on my page. Had some cool ones from private tourneys too that we lost.

If memory servers me my prior predictions were 98.751% accurate (just a wild guess - wink wink). It may take a game or two to get in the swing of things but I'm confident I'll have things in tip top shape early. To all owners, GM's, dot owners - good luck on the season. There maybe a clear cut favorites (cough cough Running Gag - defending champs) but there's a reason we play the dot game - anything can happen (cue in dramatic music).

Not Fast, Just Furious @ Scott's Turfbuilders: With most of the team full of CPU dots I can't imagine my team of misfits losing this game. I'll chalk one up in the win column on my return to Casual Pro...255-0.

LG Canucks @ Tlingit Warriors: They had a fairly close game in Regional's last season but LG was underleveled. With finally getting up to 79 the game will be different now and the Canucks walk away with this one...38-20.

Running Gag @ Chile Chupacabras: WTF, Gag has a passing QB (the sky is falling!!!!). RG outscored Chile 145-14 last season and I don't see much changing this go around...80-0.

Magua's Revenge @ Vancouver Gorillas: Revenge has a great season last year avenging two of their losses early on and beating up teams along the way while also beating Gag. They may be a dark horse so I'm giving everyone a heads up to keep an eye on them as they go into Vancouver and pass out bananas...48-7.

Manhattan Midnight Warrior @ Sofia Spiders: I don't know what happened to MMW but that's a very low chemistry and not what you want out of the gate facing a top team in Sofia. Look for the Spiders to spin their web all over the Warriors...49-0.

Charlestown Chiefs @ Grand Rapids River Rats: "Nobody remembers second place" or "If your not first your last." Coming off silver last season the Chiefs will bully their way over the new kids on the block...48-14.

REMINDERS:
1. Get signed up for the League Survivor Game - only two have picked at the time of writting.
2. Casual Pro Tourney
