The description is really confusing. On one hand, it says the activation chance is "100%" at bronze, silver, and gold. On the other hand, the description says that, while active, it "increases the chance to slow nearby unblocked blitzers while engaged in blocking by [10%, 20%, 40%]".

Can someone clarify two minor things for me?

1. I'm assuming it means that, 100% of the time, the nearby unblocked blitzer's speed is decreased by those percentages and that what increases with each level has to do with the size of effect, instead of actually having anything to do with chances. Is this correct?

2. The description mentions "while blocking on the line". Does this in fact mean it's useless (0% chance) once an offensive lineman has pulled to the outside on a pitch?

1) I'm reading it the same way.
2) Agree with your assumption here. I think it's mainly to counter against outside LB blitzers while the OT is engaged with a DE.

Appreciate that. I still remember a few years ago getting absolutely lit into by a well-known agent who got super annoyed with my questions..

Nothing wrong with asking questions...and its stupid to get mad at someone for doing so, otherwise how else are we to help new guys stick around.
