As an owner and having coached, this is a need to know for all new players because we all see it time and time again.
I have noticed a few agents who are fairly new to the game and don't realize this. But your free player (everyone has one and if premium have 2), his sp boosts and ap boosts when unlocked are free to purchase. Any non-free player has to pay for those boosts however and this includes your pick up players. But double check your free players and make sure you are utilizing those sp boosts. Most of you should have at least 6 open for purchase which is 12,000 free exp points you are not using. To do it, click the dots and adjust the drop down to max the "purchase". Then click purchase. It should say free for the amount if you are using a free player.
Also, if all players could open their builds for coaching staff that would be great. It helps to put you in the right spot and call the right plays for your skill set. If you are unsure how to do this, go to your players’ page. Right next to the yellow box that says play pickup game you will see a gear looking icon. Click this. Now you will see a drop down box. On this drop down box is a few options. It would be great if you could set it to at least, "My teams’ owner and coaches can see my build" but any from there down would work. Click save changes and you are set.
On a side note. If you have free agents and are looking to get them signed, you can set your build to open to everyone to increase your chances of being picked up. Some people won’t even look at a player if build is closed.
And while I have you here, please do not hesitate to ask in your team forums or pm or mail to other agents when you have questions on builds. It is better to ask and learn than to wing it and destroy your build. You are not going to piss anyone off by asking and most agents are more than willing to help you make good players.
