What does player salary affect? Whats the benefit of paying a player more?

Boost chemistry up faster on players who are low, and I think it may give a bonus to morale during games but I'm not too sure on that one.

The amount you are willing to pay a player.
A low value contract costs less, but the player will have a maximum chemistry of 50.
A medium value contract is a standard contract, with no bonuses or penalties.
A high value contract will give the player a bonus of +25 heart in all games he plays for this team, and will cause his chemistry to recover at 150% of the normal rate.
