DOW won't be restarting until S73 so they will be all CPU this Season. If you need me to switch with another team to make this League more competitive just let me know as this is where GLB put the team after most of the players went to either my WL team or Joe's.

Finally full. We're looking at 10 or so unboosted dots though. Hopefully they're just giving me palpations by waiting until the last moment to boost.

ProKop: I ran out of flex. :-P

Actually, I'm pretty much a rank amateur compared to some (most?) here and this is the first time I've been on that had a full foster before games started.

Hey. Ease up on the boy. He made an emergency team purchase this past season and likely hasn't reloaded his flexies yet.

THE MINXY REPORT-- GAME ONE

Season 72 Rookie League #1 - The start of something big

GAME OF THE WEEK: Brew Crew (35) v. New Orleans Golden Kangaroos (28):
Six Pounders Stadium was electric with excitement as the home town Brew Crew started the season with a close victory over the New Orleans Golden Kangaroos. This game was kept close by (WR) Michael "Beerman" Lewis, who scored two long kickoff return touchdowns for the Kangaroos. Ultimately, the Brew Crew defense was too much for the Kangaroos. (CB) Rocky Culbertson had seven tackles, four tackles for a loss and three deflections for the Brew Crew. Late in the fourth quarter, the game was tied 28-28 and the Kangaroos punted the ball to the Brew Crew, who took over at their own 40 yard line. Over the next four minutes, the Brew Crew offense ground the Kangaroo defense into the turf as they ran the ball decisively. On the game winning drive, the Brew Crew converted a 4th and short with (FB) Bruce Banner and then punched the ball into the endzone with (HB) PowerHB31 to win the game.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: (WR) PARIS HILTON -owned by Sooner19:
The Hershey Squirts dominated the shell team that fraudulently bears the name "Universal Studios Monsters". These Monsters are surely not the same team that had so much success just a few seasons ago. (WR) PARIS HILTON found it incredibly easy to get open as she converted eight receptions on nine targets for 186.5 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: (DE) Kurt McGinnis -owned by zulu1128:
The West Scranton Invaders offensive linemen were booed by their hometown fans as they gave up 5 sacks and 1 hurry to the imposing Cincinnati Spartan defense in a losing effort. The Spartan defense was led by (DE) Kurt McGinnis who accounted for two sacks and a hurry and made life generally miserable for Invader quarterbacks.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: (HB) Tuna Timmy -owned by armadafalls:
Fans quickly discovered that you don't dare buy concessions at Chef's Kitchen Arena. The damn food gets up off your plate and takes the field to play the game. The Anthropomorphic Cuisine started the season with a nice victory over The Dogs of War. Proving that Starkist is not looking for tuna with good taste but rather tuna that tastes good, (HB) Tuna Timmy returned both a kickoff and punt for touchdowns. Sorry Charlie!

POWER RANKINGS
1. Hershey Squirts
2. CFL All Stars
3. Midnight Marauders
4.Cincinnati Spartans
5. Brew Crew
