Sorry a new edition has been so long coming, ive been extremely busy recently helping a few friends move and haven’t had much free time. And to be honest, the African AAA#1 community hasnt been one that ive been to motivated to contribute too... however there are alot of you I respect and I have gotton quite a few PM's about making new ones so here you go!
Ill make another edition at the start of the playoffs that includes my predictions and what not. A few changes with this current edition, ive marked the teams who have either secured a playoff berth or are essentially locks with a (+), the teams who are on the bubble or at risk with a (*), and the teams who will be on the outside looking in with a (-).
Also a little music if anyone is bored tonight http://youtube.com/watch?v=w_CRbbHzT0Q

Lion Conference
(+)1. Somalia Wasps (11-0): Aside from the Night Riders the Wasps have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way. Can this team go 16-0? However despite appearing to be miles ahead of the rest of the league, I expect the Wasps will run into some trouble in the playoffs. They will remain the favorites to win it all though until knocked out.
(+)2. Kalahari Night Riders (10-1): Unfortunately the Night Riders still have to face the two teams that remain undefeated before there season ends, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see them walk out with two wins. This team is for real and has handled nearly every task handed to them thus far in the season and they have all but locked up the #2 seed. If they can win out they will steal the top seed from the Wasps.
(+)3. Angola Dream (8-3): Beat 2 out of the 5 other top Lion teams and kept the games against the other 3 close. This team may not have the best players, but they do have the best depth. This is not a team you want to run into during the playoffs.
(+)4. Etheopian Starvin Marvins (8-3): Have put together a solid winning streak that includes wins over both the Squirrels and Heat, this team is starting to live up to the Preseason hype. The rest of the season should provide to many problems, although both the Mafia and the Bee’s are teams that could prove to be upset victors.
(+)5. Pheonix Heat (7-4): After a strong start and lofty expectations this team has fallen from grace. Poor chemistry and a lack of depth in certain areas has hurt them, but the Heat are still one of Lions elite. Teams will be dreading the possibility of facing the Heat in the first round, and after a game against the Bush Squirrels tomorrow the Heat have smooth sailing.
(+)6. Zimbabwe Bush Squirrels (9-2): This team will finish with 3 or 4 losses, however the should still have homefield for atleast one round. However they have received some lucky breaks this season, and I think their poor team chemistry will hurt them in the playoffs.
(*)7. Minnesotta Mafia (7-4): I think they will drop their next 3 to the Dream, Marvins, and Squirrels so to make the playoffs they will need to beat a Shadow Chasers team who might be fighting for a spot as well and a Malice team that never lived up to expectations. However that said, this team holds the tie breaker over the Thunder Bolts which might prove decisive.
(*)8. Sahara Shadow Chasers (4-7): This team should win atleast 4 of its last 5 games, will that be enough to make the playoffs?
(*)9. Siera Leon Thunder Bolts (5-6): The Bolts still have to face both the Wasps and the Dream before seasons end. Will they be able to keep the 8th slot away from other teams on the fence who have easier schedules?
(*)10. Fort Wayne Generals (4-7): Will the Generals be able to rally their troops and make it into the playoffs? While they aren’t eliminated yet it looks quite grim as their remaining schedule includes 4 teams who are already locked in to playoff spots.
(*)11. Uganda Silverbacks (4-7): Another team not yet eliminated from the playoffs, but their remaining schedule wont make it easy to sneak in.
(-)12. Atlantic Blue Jays (3-8): Don’t have any shot at making the playoffs nor do their hopes of finishing with a .500 record. The Jays will have to face 4 of the leagues top 8 teams to close out their season.
(-)13. African Killer Frogs (2-9): This team has a lot more talent than their record reflects expect them to be in the playoff hunt this time next season.
(-)14. Egypt Empire (3-8): This team has won 2 straight, but it just makes them the best of the worst. A few offseason moves could make this team competitive.
(-)15. Madagascar Outlaws (2-7): Will need to make some offseason moves if they want to be a contender next year, otherwise expect them to be taking over the conference cellar.
(-)16. Eritrea Evarcha culicuvora (0-11): This team has all but locked up relegation.
Elephant Conference
(+)1. Ghana Rhea Infection (11-0): Still undefeated but still have a few challenges left this season. Should finish at the top of Elephant Conference and lock up homefield, but will they be able to come out on top when it matters?
(+)2. Morocco Camels (10-1): The Camels are looking a lot stronger than they did at the start of the season and are prepping for a deep playoff run. I think all of these guys want a rematch with the Infection now that Da King is gone.
(+)3. Los Angeles X-treme (9-2): Aside from the Bee’s the rest of the season doesn’t offer much competition for these guys. I expect LA’s top ranked defense to find another whole gear in the playoffs, but will it be enough to carry them to the top?
(+)4. Russian Tractor (9-2): I initially had these guys ranked quite high but then dropped them after an 0-2 start. 9 games later they have clawed their way back up. They still have to face the Camels and Beavers this season, so while they are a lock for the playoffs it still remains to be seen what seed they will be.
(+)5. African Killer Bee’s (9-2): This is a team that has surprised everyone all season long and they have definitely earned their playoff berth. However their remaining schedule doesn’t look to be to kind and I expect the Bee’s to lose atleast 3 out of 5, however if they can pull off some upsets they might be looking at home field advantage in the first round.
(+)6. Eaton Beavers (8-3): Another team that has a solid defense. The have secured a berth and now their seeding is in their hands as they still have to face the Bee’s, Tractors, and the Saints. I don’t think any of the top seeds want to meet this team in the first round.
(*)7. San Dimas Saints (8-3): In my preseason rankings I stated that there was no way this team would make the playoffs, however they have all but locked up their position. The only reason I put them on the fence is because I feel they have the least talent of the teams at the top and losing 2 or 3 games could knock them out… however I feel that it is unlikely that they will be on the outside looking in.
(*)8. River Styx Jinx (5-6): Tomorrows game against the Lions will be make or break for this team, however I feel they have an excellent chance of stealing the 8th and final spots. The Jinx remaining schedule wont be easy as they have to face 4 teams above .500 and one right below, however if they beat the lions they hold the tie breaker and stand a much better chance of winning a few more games.
(*)9. Mozambique Lions (6-5): This is my bold prediction for the week, the Lions will miss the playoffs. Looking at their remaining schedule, the Lions still have to face the Infection, Xtreme, and Heat. I expect them to lose all 3, so tomorrows game against the Jinx is a must win in order to secure the tie breaker and gain a 2 game lead.
(-)10. Wichita Falls Rough Riders (2-9): Poor chemistry really hurt this team throughout the season, but they have the talent to be a playoff team next season.
(-)11. Congo Death (3-8): The Death have an unbelievably easy schedule left and should finish 9th in the standings and actually still mathematically have a shot at the playoffs, but the odds are still stacked against them.
(-)12. High Plains Drifters (3-8): Thus far they have only beaten other bottom dwellers, but they could finish with a few more wins as they still have to face the Death and Blaze. This team has some potential but they need to improve themselves this offseason to be relevant next season.
(-)13. Casablanca White Houses (2-9): Have a nice youthful core to build from for the future, but without some major acquisitions this team will be staying where they are at. The remainder of their schedule offers some tough games.
(-)14. New Jersey Blaze (2-9): Have a nice group of guys to build around but are still missing some pieces. A strong offseason could push this team into contention for season 4.
(-)15. Mogedishu Malice (1-10): After winning their first game the Malice have dropped 10 straight.
(-)16. Swaziland Black Mambas (0-11): This team will be relegated at the end of the season, but they have a core to build around at the AA level.

(or was it someone else? o_O), oh well at least they still have a chance at winning their conference.
