Maybe the key is the number 16 - meaning if your player has exactly 16 INT - not a point more nor a point less - you've hit upon the sweet spot and all defenders simply fall down before you. ALL my future players will now have EXACTLY 16 INT! Thanks for the tip!

Lack of balance, the counter fake, or most likely the cover 4 that deep into the end zone caused the hapless CB to fall over imho.
Lack of balance is unlikely for a CPU player (but could happen). The player fell AFTER the counter script so it might be that lack of Zone Awareness made him fall when the computer rolled for it. Also, we have all seen various plays where the players either run off screen or fall over because the game runs out of room for a deep play like the 4-4 BIG Cover 4 the CPU ran there so close to the end zone.
