Hey all.

I'm returning to the game after nearly a decade (time keeps on slippin!)..

I had experience with Ownership, Coordinating, and Player Creation in the Pro League of in the early seasons of the game.

My question is whether to sink my time into GLB or GLB2. Which player base is more active? Which is more fun to jump back into?

Thanks all! Glad to be home.

I had a lengthy gap between playing as well and gave GLB2 a try and never looked back. From what I remember player building in GLB was way more tedious which I think was the biggest factor for me.

GLB2 all the way. Die hard people here and are very competitive.

Seems to be cookie cutter either game. The players creator technically has free reign to build any way they choose. But if you don’t follow a specific format. You just wasted a year of your life.

I agree with edward, player building is constraint to either viable builds or garbage builds, at least for a lot of positions. You need a,b,and c to have a viable build, but you can play around with y and z.

Player builds have a set of must-haves but the trick is figuring out how far to push a given ability in each season, i.e. how good is good enough for Rookie, Sophomore, Journeyman, etc. Very little latitude in veteran-level players, lots of trade-offs in the first 3 seasons. Some of them can be left up to the individual, others need to be a team decision.

or you just take the game for what it is and play. If you are die hard for those trophies though you have to understand people in this game, just like every other game has the ones that will do anything to win, not for enjoyment of game but just to win at all costs.
