ALPHA CONFERENCE ROUND 2
1.) Pittsburgh Steelerz vs 2.) Santa Cruz Silver Sharks
The matchup I think we all were anticipating. The old 79's vs the young guns. These 2 teams split their regular season match up each winning at home. Santa Cruz used "player appreciation" promo the first matchup which apparently they didn't need, as the guy they used it on didn't do much(So they say) Now it's time for the Steelerz to return the favor with some nachos. Santa Cruz losing to Dexter could have cost them a trip to the championship game since it cost them home field advantage. Though, I still have to give the edge to the level difference, and I'll say the Sharks win a close one 17-10.
ZETA CONFERENCE ROUND 2
1.) Granite Peak Grizzlies vs 2.) Houston Vikings
Are you guys as shocked as I am to see these two teams playing for a chance at gold? Neither am I...Granite has been putting on a clinic all season, just like we all expected. They have talented coordinators, and even better dot builders. Regardless that they may be a farm team, anything short of gold should be a disappointment. On the other end we have the team with the best chance of not letting that happen, The Houston Vikings. They have 2 losses, both coming at the hands of Granite being outscored 103-7. Sadly, that's a tough turnaround for anyone, and while I think this game will be closer, I don't think Houston has what it takes. Grizzlies win 45-17
