Warrior General Games

The way that there is cooperation between teams in the form of game-fixing is ridiculous. I see a simple way to create a feeling of real and open competition. Simply do not let owners coach or manage other teams in the same league. The community is rife with open conflict of interest.

Don't expect for me to support a a game (even one as cool as this one) if open corruption is allowed.

Shhh....I've beat that drum before. Now you are just going to get trolled and chastised.

Why do the developers fear these old-timers? Just put in a few rules that ensure real competition.

1. No coaching rival teams in the same league.
2. Flagrant 'throwing games' should get a suspension for at least one season.

I'm not making this s**t up. Who else has seen the weak-*ss cheaters at work? They ruin the game for new players, and they suck.

That being said, I think the game rocks. It's a great sim. They just let a few bad apples ruin it.

Seen it, don't like it. Up to the people in charge to fix it.

So, this is a real thing? Can I get onto one of these dirty teams? My team's owner went inactive... Is that a normal thing? Is it related to this topic?

I see this as a chance for the guilty to come clean. Maybe say if they're willing to play a clean game unless it's built into the rules? See, I think that a lot of people are willing to do sneaky crap till they're called on it.

I'm not going to 'out' anybody, but it would be great to see if somebody was honest enough to admit that they've 'strategically lost' a game.

Hey mcspud… Did you play beneath the power lines as a child? Eat lead paint chips? If you would have entered these forums before reaching critical mass from your paranoid delusions, you would have found numerous veteran agents eager to help in any way they could help you learn this game. The saturation of the same coaches on multiple teams is a result of not having enough people playing this game, therefore the handful of skilled coaches are spread thin amongst the active teams. You are actually the solution to the problem, a bonified new user with genuine interest in the game. So rather then chasing conspiracies, why not reach out to the community and learn the damn game. And please if you have any actual evidence of cheating bring it forth and reveal it, accusations without evidence is slander and your making yourself look bad, now go back out and do your homework.

I think you are absolutely making this shit up. Show us an example of throwing games. I'm looking at the leagues of the teams you are involved with and see nothing.

Bourbon Street and Zombie Patrol have the same cast but the final score was 3-0. Hardly throwing the game. Nothing to see there at all. I see nothing at all, nothing.

So it's not entirely true. There actually is room for self examination in this community, but the people with the capacity for reason seem to be few.

There are a lot of people ready to explain away things and kill the messenger, and that is unfortunate. I appreciate those of you who took my concerns seriously. In a few responses there were some relevant points to be acknowledged. I do feel like you are likely right for the most part.

To the people who just pile-on and try to suppress the voices of people and their opinions and concerns through dialogue, please feel free to eat a bag of ***ks.

Nor will you goad me into pointing my finger at an individual, but while I know that not knowing is frustrating, I'm not just making shit up to waste time. I raised my voice for the good of the game and to pass on the perception of a relatively new person and that of other new players. If that isn't a concern that you have, don't fault me for expressing myself.

Just give us an example. I actually took the time of investigating the leagues you are involved with and found absolutely nothing that looks like anything at all. After wasting my time maybe you could give an example and make things easier on me. I looked at every team in those leagues, every one of them and there is nothing there. Am I missing something? There are plenty of ways of expressing yourself without wild false accusations towards unknown and probably nonexistent evil doers.

Considering the competitive nature of all the agents I have interacted with, and the financial commitment of owning a team, I do not believe a single team owner would intentionally "roll over" for anyone elses team. This would amount to the GLB2 equivalent of dropping the soap.
