I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I'll bring it back up for the sake of conversation. I remember reading about someone losing their championship game due to timeout mismanagement.
But c'mon guys, a football simulator that doesn't have timeout tactics?! It's a HUGE part of real football. There's been quite a few times I wish my team wasn't calling timeouts. For example, on your own 20 yardline with under a minute to go in the 2nd quarter. Either force the opposing team to use a timeout, or allow me to run the clock out into the half. Oh no, my QB got sacked and fumbled. Guess I'm a terrible coach.
Obviously, addressing the timeout bugs should be the main priority, but maybe if that's in the process of being fixed we could get some tools to manage how and when those timeouts are used. It'd also be cool to be able to call timeouts after sacks or big morale/energy losses to enable your players to recuperate a bit. Overall, it's a big part of football and it's not represented in what otherwise is a very tactical game.
