What is the cost in flex to for one character if you spend at all opportunities. Does anyone have a breakdown handy.

With career boosts:
50 Flex Tier: 75 per boost*12=900 + 150 per career boost*4=600 + 250 per AP boost*3=750 = 50 + 900 + 600 + 750=2300
100 Flex Tier: 100 per boost*12=100 + 1200 + 600 + 750 = 2650
150 Flex Tier: 125 per boost*12=150 + 1500 + 600 + 750 = 3000

Without career boosts:
50 Flex Tier: 75 per boost*12=900 + 250 per AP boost*3=750=50+900+750=1700
100 Flex Tier: 100 per boost*12=100 + 1200 + 750 = 2050
150 Flex Tier: 125 per boost*12=150 + 1500 + 750 = 2400

Do the flex tiers break down like the GLB:
O-line and k/p
Defense TE/FB
QB/HB/WR

If that is the case, the game seems to cost less for a player.

The players themselves cost less. However you don't receive the same % flex back for your player when you retire them.

The flex tiers work like this tho

Oline/K/P/DT

TE/FB/WR/DE/CB/SS/FS

QB/HB/LB

Is there a link to this somewhere. I can't seem to find this.

Retire Player
You can retire your player if you no longer want him. THIS PROCESS IS PERMANENT, so make sure you really want to retire him!

When you retire your player, you will get back between 30% and 100% of the flex points spent on the player, depending on how long you have controlled him. A player retired before he has reached rookie level 6 will receive a 100% refund, with the refund reducing by 17.5% per level, down to 30% after reaching level 9. Any player who has not played a single game (other than pickup games) will receive a 100% refund, including superstar points.

The flex tiers are shown on both your home page in the upper right under "Superstar Progress" and on the create a player screen when you pick which position you want to build.

All I have is create new player on my screen. I don't think a new player sees the same thing. I might be mistaken. Thanks for the link.

Stobie's site offers, for a small fee, the ability to run virtual player in order to see what exactly all the traits and what not amount to when you are building a player. That allows you to build the ideal build you are looking to do. There are also other nice additions for scouting and what not if you end up running offense or defense.

When you create a new player you will see the tiers.

czman I sent you an invite to our recruiting forum which has lots of builds and build discussion. Just a tool now that has some good info. One season old and already somewhat obsolete.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, and hopefully someone who knows better can post it, but there are free players and also pickup players that I think I got for buying flex but I don't remember exactly how it works.

You get one free player and a second player once you buy any flex or are premium. I think everyone gets 1 free pickup as well.
