1) This has already been discussed multiple times, but Superstar CPU's would be nice. Not everyone can go out and recruit a bunch of superstars to their team minus their originally created 3. And there isn't a way to break the system and build teams with 22 superstars anymore. So why not? It only helps the newer players that much more in that they can buy a team and compete better with elite teams.
2) Which brings me to this. I assume that no CPU player hits gold in any of their respective SA's that they add? If not they should at least gold one of them. Give the CPU players a chance to be role players in higher levels. Bronze and Silver SA's are ok, but there is a much different level of play between silver and gold. Maybe a tier system per CPU player that Golds 1 SA, Silvers 2 SA's, and Bronze 3 SA's?
3) I know there was a change a couple seasons back that allowed CPU's to grow better by picking better skills and not just entirely random. Let's take this a step further. With my second idea, you could build different types of player archetypes that are built "well" overall, but specialize in certain areas that their SA's represent. So lets say you have a CPU DE. We only see that he has "Run Stuffer", "Fumble Creator", and "Fearsome" as his 3 traits. So the only assumption we have is that this guy is a run stuffer type that can create fumbles and can intimidate.
So our assumption is that this guy is all around built, but working more heavily in Intimidation, Power Tackling, Strip Tackling, Break Run Block, and Hold Ground. Which is probably correct. But, I also assume that his SA's are pretty jumbled between Bronze levels (maybe a Silver)?
What I would like to see is where a CPU like this focuses more on one of those things. Doesn't need like automatic 100 or anything but a better focus would create better players. So let's say this guys Gold level SA is Beat Down. He ends up with like 80+ Intimidation to give his gold SA meaning. His silver SA's are like Unstoppable Force and Opportunist. He ends up with like 70+ in both Hold Ground and Strip Tackling. The 3 Bronze SA's could be Monster Hit, Shed Block, and something random like GL Stand/HTH/RW/Second Wind/etc..
Just having that focus on individual guys would be great. Again, I know you don't want us to see CPU builds and we still wouldn't have to. But this would give us an even better sense of what these guys are good at, make them better overall players, give us better reason to watch each of them play at higher levels, and maybe give the general population ideas that some off the wall builds might work too.
