We know the usual wants:

- more plays (most seem to love the new PA plays), better FB plays etc...
- fix late game decisions
- allow agents to make players for any tier
- allow agents to buy Senior league teams (50% from normal cost would make sense, its a senior citizen discount )
- MAKE CHANGES BEFORE OFFSEASON (yes, I capped it because we complain about this every season) Allow us to adjust builds before season actually starts.

However, there's one serious proposal I would love to see addressed, debated on etc...

The issues:
- agents disappearing mid-season leaving teams screwed. Most agents have to fill entire roster to make sure they can compete
- owners wanting players to make builds a very specific way, thus taking out the creative part of making players in the 1st place
- players not boosting or using points on their players, still leaving the owner screwed

I'm sure I missed a few, but that's some of the big ones that come to mind.

My proposal:
Create a system that allows us to control an entire team. Perhaps a seasonal fee that allows us to build 43 players however we want. It restricts us to 3 superstars for each group positions we can currently build S* in (thus creating a fair balance with teams). Each season gives us an option to renew the team.

thoughts?

Can't you control an entire team now? I see it everywhere. Just own the team and make all the players for the team = Control of an entire team.

To address the issues you listed above:

To help team owners I believe the solution is to allow agents to create players at any tier and minimize some of the chemistry penalty they hit you with for signing free agents in between seasons.

If you're an agent and you don't want to have an owner tell you what to build then either buy your own team, find an owner who doesn't care about builds, create a pick up player, or sign up for a CPU Team and go wild.

I believe that dlcurt means when you buy a team you have complete control over all of the dots. It is not expensive to buy a team but it is expensive to build and boost all of the dots.

It also helps with agents leaving mid season or not boosting or horrible builds.

I like dlcurt's suggestions as I see the player base dwindling. At the very least, I hope that his plan would keep the current player base.

Those are things that the majority of agents have agreed are good for the game

I built probably 3/4 of the players on my team. I started out using built up left over flex from GLB1. a few years of it went a long way. Eventually that ran out and now it cost a s$#t load of money to keep going. Two other guys have the rest of the players, 1 of them is my brother. Before I did that, I could not field a competitive team. People quit out of the blue, or move on to other teams. It was hard to find good replacements. That was years ago when there was a pretty large user base. I couldn't imagine trying to field a team now with mostly agents players. I will keep spending and playing, because I'm hooked, but slowly other people are leaving, and eventually there will only be people like me left, and probably not enough to fill the leagues. its getting that way now. If they were to do what was suggested in the OP it would make people who cant afford to run a team and all the players on it more competitive and more likely to stay. the problem with it and probably the reason they don't do this is how do they do this without loosing the piles of cash it takes to do it now from those that do? If it brings more people in, then that wouldn't be an issue, or if enough who don't spend a lot that are already here spent the extra to have a full team, then it also makes up the difference. If you limit the star players to 3 the people who have the money to spend would keep spending so they can have 6+ SS and have an advantage so i don't think you could do that without changing other things. What do you do for the people who don't want a whole team or cant afford it? There would have to be a way for those people to still find a team to be on. I love the Idea but there would be a lot to consider to implement something like that.

More defensive plays added! Most teams run the same 8-10 plays.

Seems agerm73 and rackhound understand my point.

We buy teams for 500 flex per season.... obviously.

So for you slower folks....

We pay seasonal fees that INCLUDES the ability to make every single player (43 man roster) on the team.... that means, we essentially have 43 free players that comes with a team.... and only that team. They cannot be used to feed other teams. Hope that cleared things up a little more.

At least the minimum amount of players to field the team on here, which is like 36 right? Or in the very least some sort of amount of free players.

This, mainly because you can try to be versatile and run other stuff but considering most of the defensive plays are garbage (especially many of the blitzes) there's no point in running them

I think they would rather let the game die than lose loads of money hosting tons of free or under priced players.

This just seems overly complicated in my opinion. What happens if you want to cut one of the free players on your purchased team? They just get auto deleted or something? Seems like that might be a difficult thing for them to program and manage. I think a simpler option would be just to lower the flex cost of team ownership or decrease the cost of flex points.
