The more run blocking awareness/lead block awareness a player has, the less likely they are to block the wide open man.... this is especially true for the FB

And what's up with this "touch-block" motion on outside runs now where the offensive linemen starts to block the defender and then just lets them run by so they chase them

Center is chasing his blocking assignment across the field and the LG was late getting to his spot and missed the defenders that made the tackle.

The center (who has a high ass amount of awareness) ran next to his blocker, finally realized the guy was open, gave him a little touch, and then proceeded to chase him.

The LG LITERALLY cut to avoid blocking 2 defenders

I dunno I don't even see the Center hitting the LB. He gets there and then the LB takes off in pursuit and the center chases him.

LG never stood a chance. The defenders were already passed his blocking path.

In all these plays, it looks like the blockers are locked onto 1 player they are gonna block and won't change. The LG was locked on to the FS from the start.

They need to code into lead blocking to make them block the nearest unblocked player, not to lock onto one guy while another runs right by them to make the tackle.

Yes. This is killing me. I keep upping RBA and LBA to compensate, when in fact that is probably not the right thing to do, and I'll likely have to respec my entire Offensive Line again (if I even can again). This season turned into a rebuilding season for me but I am still confused about...just about everything right now

those both just look like low physical build issues. The C misses the MLB because he outruns him before he can get contact with him. you see the C on his right and he takes off with first step to the left. so the C cant keep contact or thats a hold. The LG just never gets out fast enough for that speedy defense. You will notice a slight bump as you say to the defense player and then they run by the LG pulling. this is true in real football too. sometimes that LG cant get in front of the running defense player but just get a little push on them and misses.
