What is the fascination with re-setting to rookie after just 1 season played?

I was surprised at how many of the teams with some-what solid rosters decided to re-set.

Just curious if anyone had any insight.

some people see where they went wrong and reset and regroup. some are just buying time until their superstars are ready. some just want to dominate in rookie. some dont wanna boost their players or need to use cpu players so thats their best chance of winning.

We reset because we learned a lot about the sim from another season of play. Since the game has essentially zero documentation, a lot of this learning process is from trial and error. I built a 2nd team in the previous rookie season just to try out zany stuff and figured out a lot of good things.

There's just little motivation to stay in a sophomore super tier if your builds are somewhat solid.

Makes Sense BHall and Trey Green!!!

First team I ever owned was a Sophomore Team and the learning curve was Steep, especially with a half/CPU Roster until (Seasoned- R.I.P.)!!!

I did enjoy the games at the Upper tiers Alot, so was planning on making all the way back to vet with this version of the Crowns!!

Thanks for the replys!!!

We did the same thing. First team was sophomore. We had to build our team up by making pickup players and then paying flex to convert them.

I remember the first time we faced a Zero Edge Blitz spammer, I think we took 30 sacks in that game and 25 in the next one where we tried what should have logically worked to defeat a house blitz. Then we realized we didn't have the personnel to do basically anything we wanted to do other than throw to the TE. Decided it was much cheaper to just blow it up than try to work up Journeyman players through pickups.

We had no idea we were resetting into the toughest Rookie league in a long time.

I agree with what bhall said.

Sadly that Rookie tier we had last year didn't stand together. It was super deep!

How many teams left? it looks like most of our league stayed. The only team I see that reset, ironically was the team that won the Championship.

Grocery store will stay until vet but we're non boosting. Waiting until a flex sale to start planning my next team

I'm just burnt out and don't feel like a Vet run right now. I am just going to mess around a mostly CPU team for now. It's kind of fun to play a bunch of teams I haven't got to play before, a lot more fun than playing the same team 5 times in a season. I'm not fully committed to this game right now and it wouldn't be fair to have people build a bunch players for me.
