Season 27 – The Real Deal Tournament Official Sign Up’s
I am excited to announce the first ever Real Deal Tournament in GLB2.
Any team is able to sign up for the tournament.
Until more interest is drawn, the max amount of teams able to sign up at each tier is 8. If more teams become interested, I will then open up more slots in the respected tier’s tournament to allow everyone to have a chance to participate.
Rules of the Tournament:
Seeding will be random drawn, so the Home Team draw will be random as well.
Home Team will be responsible for paying the required 25 Flex Points to set up match!
Matches will be announced in the Forums and PMs will be sent to the owners of teams that are supposed to play so there is no mix up who your opponent will be and who will be required to set up the match.
Games will be played every 6 days as this will allow proper time to set up the match, and give teams proper time to game plan for each tournament match.
You will know the opponent 4 days before the match will be played.
Matches will be set up as followed when you send the challenge request:
[] This game should be private, viewable by the participants only.
[X] This game should follow playoff overtime rules, with no possibility of a tie.
At this time there will be no required Flex Point buy in required to participate, This however could change if I am allowed to charge a buy in per approval from Moderators of GLB2
This is a Single Elimination Tournament
Prizes
1st Place in each tier will receive 1,200 FP at this time, this will be coming out of RHoyle’s pocket as an incentive for participating in the Real Deal Tournament.
1st Place will also receive a Trophy that you are free to do with at the winner’s discretion, It will not be posted to your wall or your teams wall, but you are free to add it to your logo, or the team’s logo.
To officially declare participation in the tournament, please respond to in thread with the Team Name, and the tier your team is expected to be at the start of Season 27.
EX: Houston Roughnecks – Rookie, or Houston Roughnecks – Sophomore, etc.
