Warrior General Games

So I have been back and forth on this for a few days, and wanted to gather some input from agents in GLB2. I know Tournaments used to be very fun and taken seriously back in GLB1 and I have not seen many, if any at all here in GLB2. I am wanting to organize a tournament for every tier in GLB2 during Season 27.
I was thinking 8, or 16 team tournament for Rookie tiered teams, 8 team tournament for Sophomore, 8 team tournament for Journeyman, 8 team tournament for Professional, and 8 or 16 team tournament for Veteran. Obviously the number of teams able to participate would depend on how many teams decided to reset back to Rookie or got promoted to the next tier.
Tournament would be Single Elimination for each tier.
If enough interest, I would entertain the idea of having a FP buy in and offering FP rewards to the Top 3 finishers in each tournament. Would be no more than 200-400 FP depending on tier and teams willing to take part. And trophies would be handed out (if it is allowed by moderators) as well as FP.

Tournament Brackets would be filled out using BracketMaker so seed would be at random but games would be set 3-4 days in advance so you could set up as a Scrimmage in GLB2 to be played. Games would be set up by the Home Team and games would be set up to follow playoff overtime rules so there is no possibility of a tie.

If anyone has any recommendations to make, or anything they would not like to see feel free to comment and let it be heard. I would like to get everything tuned in and out within the next few days as I know the end of Season 26 is coming up soon!

At this point the devs should at least allow custom user trophies. I mean ffs.

Also whatever happened to being able to donate flex to a team? That would be awesome if they allowed that again.

Seriously, it's such a good way to offer a cheap incentive for actually organizing these things and getting us to spend flex.

I do know that you are still about to give them via GLB1.
That is where I buy all of my flex and it still links it to both accounts and our username and passwords work for both on Warrior General.
So that would most likely be how the entry fees would be collected and the reward would be given out.

I like this a lot and as former founder of the Dot Wars Tournament, I'd love to see a tourny run here on GLB2...excellent idea brother

I think there should be some kind of trophy gif limitations. Such as one gif for 8 teams and 2 or 3 for 16+. In GLB1 there were 4 team tournaments giving out three trophies.

I definitely agree with you on this. I like that idea. I definitely remember those 4 team tournaments that handed out trophies to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Lol.

They don't give out a silver for second in league so I'm good with one trophy per tourney
