It might not be what you want to hear but you should probably just roll with CPUs this season and then either start a rookie recruitment thread for Season 27 now and reset to rookie this offseason or Start and Sophmore recruitment thread now and hope to fill out your roster this offseason.
CPU are pretty comparable to real players in Rookie.
