In the late game tactics, add a tactic for under 2:00 and 0 timeouts.

Then crap like this shouldn't happen

Well dont run inside when down by more than a TD, that's a risk you're taking already. Also from that distance, it wasnt all that improbable for him to score off an inside run, it was just stopped.

Tactics for late game and trailing are already so damn detailed, do we really need more?

Yes...because:

1. You actually have LESS control with late game tactics.
2. If you give the user control over when to call which plays, knowing how many timeouts are left, that opens up the playbook tremendously. You would be taking the play calling out of the hands of the CPU.

It would be an easy addition and eliminate these BS late game calls.

8 secs left, 1 timeout left, on the 40 and what do we do? let clock run out

similar issue in our game yesterday, had 2 drives where we scored a TD only to still be down 4 pts after the XP, why did we not attempt to go for 2pt conversion one of those 2 TDs so that we could be within a FG?

similar issues all the time where late game tactics override short yard tactics and cost you the game, or vice versa. end of half and end of game logic is awful and if they cant make it work they should provide us specific tactics settings to make those decisions on our own

That's a bug left from Classic (though Catch would never let us classify it as a bug). It used to be reported frequently and we (Bugs Mods) would mark it as an issue and he'd close it. I can't remember his justification.
