But I forgot to put him under free player

Can I retire him and get my s* points back

yes, as long as he doesn't play in a game he can be retired and recreated.

As long as you don't play in any league or ladder games you will get your S* points back after you retire.

I did it about 5 times yesterday. You should stop "helping" if you don't know the answer.

They must have changed it because at one point if you played in a scrimmage and retired your S*, you would lose it.
