Accelerated Player Development and League Reorganization:
This upcoming offseason, we will be making a fairly major change to the player level structure of GLB2.
We are doing this to help improve the fun value and competition at all tiers, including Rookie!

- All players will now start at level 5, instead of level 1.
They will receive all the SP and other level up items of those first 5 levels right at creation.
- We will be removing the "Seasoned" tier of leagues. Rookie league will now be level 5+ and Sophomore 10+.
- To help everyone fit into to the new system, all existing non-veteran players will be leveled up by +5 levels (Lv 25 max) at the end of this season.
- Since we would otherwise effectively be removing a season of play from all players, an additional 30 games will be added to the base time at Lv 25, for more time at Veteran.
- All current existing players other than Lv 25's will receive the extra 30 games.
This does not apply to existing Lv 25 players because otherwise they would be getting an extra season, which would taint all-time records, etc.
- All this will take effect when we do season rollover tomorrow night.

For those of you keeping track at home, this means current Professional and Journeyman leagues will both become Veteran leagues next season, current Seasoned leagues will become Professional, current Sophomore leagues will become Journeyman, and Rookie leagues will still turn into Sophomore.

If you're slightly confused, what this will really mean for most of you is that you'll be getting a whole bunch of skill points at the end of the season, and your new players will start with a lot more!

Would think it would be a great time to reset.

Good change, still doesn't address the financial side, thus still eliminating chance for new players. This is good for some of the core players though

That extra free vet season is nice.

So now we get 2 free vet seasons? Can we play 5 Vet seasons now?

2 - free
1 - SP
2 - cap
= 5 vet seasons

I love how they basically dumbed down the dumbed down version, and you're still confused.

Can you answer the question? Do we now get 5 seasons at Vet?

Really great move. Should improve Rookie ball, lead to better team retention at each tier, and more time at Vet.

Non-Vet players with get 5max Vet seasons. Current Vet players will still get 4 max.

Interesting as it might lead to more new owners.. with the change in tactics from rookie to everywhere else, they may actually get a handle on things much faster than they did before

Rollout makes half new players quit , starting level 5 should help a bit, more realistic gameplanning.
