Seems really wonky. Not even sure how it even works? Like Denali right now should easily already be in the top 100 for all time Journeyman performances but not even?

I don't know how it works but I have a guy in the top 100 all time and my current QB already has more yards, more TD's, a higher completion percentage over his career, and is statistically better in every category by a mile and he isn't on the list.

Still seems weird. I'm guessing that the prior seasons are taking advantage of playing up tiers with more teams involved. And sophomore is screwed because they don't play up at all anymore.

Well, how did the SOS work in the first few seasons when there wasn't a tier abover? Plus how many repeat matchup against top opponents were there the first 5 or 6 seasons?

I assume that all-time HOF puts a lot of value on awards as well. MVP, most yards, tackles or whatever. It is the only way to explain some players who are far inferior statistically being ranked higher. Haven't done a ton of digging but I just assume that awards have something to do with the rankings as well.

I can't imagine awards play into anything. Especially when talking about specific tier all time hofs.

Exactly. They probably benefit huge in terms of SOS. Due to the way things were in ladder pre changes

I guess we will see but Denali is on point to put belgareth to shame in the record books. Will be interesting how it turns out.

my current guy has multiple awards and probably 3x the amount my guy in the top 100 has so I don't think that's it.

Yup. 2nd place is a guarantee.

I've noticed this before. Definitely looks like a SoS thing like others suggested. Players from the first 10 seasons get a crazy boost in HOF rankings.
Somehow this guy is #14 on offense ahead of Derek Jeter. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/86688
This guy is #5 http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/55746

I think players from early in the game got better HOF rankings due to there being fewer tiers. Guys who started in season 1 were virtually a vet player their entire career. Guys who started in season 2 or 3 were only one or two tiers below the highest tier for their whole career. Due to this their seasons had more value vs players of today who start off 5 tiers behind as rookies.
