That's jverser's rQB defense, I owe a large part of our domination to him and will happily admit it. It was certainly a team effort for both TP and WoMD. Rocky Redskin is a huge reason why WoMD was so successful, and jverser is a huge reason why TP has been so successful, and much less than 1% of both teams success had to do with renting CEQ.

SK, if you would like, we can do it again and I'll agree to not rent CEQ for any of my players.

If you think that the reason we won all of those games and beat you every time is because I rented and adjusted CEQ on 15 of my players then you're kidding yourself.

I wasn't implying that at all - just thought it would be easier to buy it once to make it easier to manage and cost lex flex

Sorry I missed the mid-season review but being stuck in El Paso for work my question is "do I hang out and do a write up or hang out in lawless Juarez?" Easy answer - need an rush, come on down.

WEEK 9 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
QB *Dean Ambrose*, Hotties Pride. Ambrose scored five TD's to power Hotties past triple C 59-42. The dot was able to carve up the D as it rushed the ball only 12 times but racked up 242.5 yards (20.2 ypc).

WEEK 10 PICKS
Bad Blood vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - Blood's D has carried this team throughout the season but the HOOD D is pretty stout in it's own right. HOOD's FG will get the last laugh...12-9.

The Illuminaughty vs. The Last of the Mohicans - There is only one win between the two here and the only safe bet is that after this one there will be two. If there is a time for that first W it's now but I do believe the Mohicans will get the job done and notch that second W of the season...31-13.

Running Gag vs. DIABLO DOTS - We have here the two hottest teams in the league. I do think Gag is and has played head and shoulder above the rest of the league. We'll see here if the DOTS are for real and on the verge of getting that ole DIABLO swag back. When they haven't lost in a while tough to pick against them (and I won't)...34-27.

Charlestown Chiefs vs. Chocolate Blaze - The Chiefs will be looking for an ounce of respect after getting smacked around by the DOTS last week. They'll find it against the struggling Blaze who happen to be on the cusp of a playoff birth after winning two in a row. Chiefs get back on track this week...38-10.

1.21 JJ WATTS vs. Hotties Pride - Watts has been dead in the water after winning two in a row to kick the season off while the Pride is fighting to hold onto that fourth seed. Oddly, JJ is fighting for a playoff spot but I wonder if they have the will or talent do do it. Pride will pull away after half...34-17.

Chile Casual Chupacabras vs. Trick Pony - Pony can wash the blood off after the upset last week and right the ship over triple C. There won't be any passing yards in this one and that will be fine as the Pony will march onto a win here...45-10.

BB's POWER RANKING
1. Running Gag - Nothing knew to report except they have given up 31 PPG in two of the last three games (they did average 48 ppg in those two wins).
2. DIABLO DOTS - beat up on the Chiefs pretty bad last week (53-24) and have won six in a row.
3. Bad Blood - the tie to the Mohicans looks bad but that upset over Pony lessens the shine of that black and blue eye.
4. Trick Pony - Pony has lost two in a row and both reside in the West (West > East). Trick will need to sharpen it's stride with the bully of the West coming in two weeks.
5. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - played the Gag in a close one (yeah, the one time a loss is good for you in BB's power rankings) and made short work over 1.21.

It does allow you to be more flexible against certain teams, and I was really directing that towards SK, who from his many comments over the seasons seems to think that the only reason we ever beat him was because I rented custom equipment on some of my players.

This loss was yet another good example of how AI snafus affect the defense against all-run or all-pass teams

The rQB defense game we won 21 - 0 to their 88 yards of offense.
The base defense game we lost 7 - 21 to their 380 yards of offense

Chiefs remain our only legit loss http://i.imgur.com/O327xaM.png

The finish line is in view - tick tock.

WEEK 10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
RB Lil Bull, Charlestown Chiefs. Bull scored the Chiefs final two TD's to fend off the Blaze 31-16. Bull carried the ball 18 time for 124.5 yards and two rushing TD's.

WEEK 11 PREDICTIONS:

Chocolate Blaze vs. Chile Casual Chupacabras - Note to the Blaze, you guys need this one or your playoff dream could go up and smoke. The Blaze are 0-3 against all rushing teams but I have the feeling they get the win...32-28.

DIABLO DOTS vs. Bad Blood - This one should be a good one as the new look passing DOTS face the run run run of BB. The DOTS struggled against Gag last week but BB is no Running (well, they are running just not "Running")...23-17.

The Last of the Mohicans vs. 1.21 JJ WATTS - Shocker, both teams won last week. Huge one for both teams but I like 1.21 just a little more and they'll come away with the win...27-24.

Hotties Pride vs. Charlestown Chiefs - The Pride let one slip through their fingers this past week and I'd not normally give them a shot here but the Chiefs don't seem to have a fire to send off smoke signals so it will be close...31-24.

Trick Pony vs. Running Gag - Thought we'd have a potential preview of the title game with two undefeated teams but that's been dead for a while. If Donk's dot disrobe he may have a shot but I got the Gag in this one...27-16.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. The Illuminaughty - The clock is running out on that first will for ILL and sorry to say it won't be this week...77-0.

BB's POWER RANKINGS:
1. Running Gag - Pushed win streak to 20 games by dismantling the DOTS outscoring them 56-21 in the second half to cruise to a 77-35 win.
2. Bad Blood - A little hesitant to throw the boys here as we struggle on O way too much but the D has been getting it done and with another W over an LOLEast heavyweight the team deserves some mention.
3. Trick Pony - Back on track after getting crushed by BB last week.
4. DIABLO DOTS - Hung tough with Gag...for a half.
5. Charlestown Chiefs - Didn't look overly dominate against the Blaze but as they say "a win is a win."

GLB's TOP 5 CASUAL SQUADS:
1. Running Gag - ranked 5th overall.
2. Trick Pony - ranked 11th overall
3. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - ranked 19th overall.
4. Bad Blood - ranked 28th overall.
5. Charlestown Chiefs - ranked 29th overall.

Until next time...reap it!

vAnother week closer and that will bring us to our first playoff round up of the season.

WEEK 11 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nothing says "LOL" as much as when your own dot beats you. RB DaIlas Texas of Running Gag (dot owner of one Donk3yMan (owner of Trick Pony)) rushed for 200 yards on 18 carries while scoring two rushing TD's (the last of which was a 78.5 yarder...in OT no less as Pony fell to the Gag).

WEEK 12 PREDICTIONS:

The Illuminaughty vs. Chile Casual Chupacabras - This is it Ill, your time to shine and get that first win. Triple C has to keep winning for the playoffs and I believe they'll rise to the occassion...38-10.

1.21 JJ WATTS vs. Running Gag - Gag only hung 118 on 1.21 in the first game and this one may not be too different...77-6.

Charlestown Chiefs vs. Bad Blood - Chiefs won by nine the first time around and will need this one to jump over BB in the standings...27-19.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. The Last of the Mohicans - HOOD doing what HOOD does...38-13.

DIABLO DOTS vs. Hotties Pride - There won't be any upset this go around and I expect some frustration pent up by that loss earlier in the season...34-23.

Trick Pony vs. Chocolate Blaze - Pony should have no trouble leaping over the Blaze...38-9.

BB's POWER RANKINGS:
1. Running Gag - OT thriller to show these guys win blowouts and OT thrillers.
2. Bad Blood - Three straight over Trick, HOOD, and DOTS...LOL EAST.
3. Trick Pony - Tough OT loss to Gag.
4. DIABLO DOTS - Only lost by three but had six picks against BB.
5. Charlestown Chiefs - Strong start (35 in 1st half) overshadowed a lackluster second half (17 points)...BAD BLOOD AWAITS!!!

PLAYOFF REVIEW:

WESTERN
1. Gag - has it locked up unless the wheels completely fall off which I don't see happening.
2. Chiefs - won't be easy as BB will give them a run.
3. Blood - That tie could be costly coming down the home stretch.
4. Up for grabs between 1.21 and Triple C. I have my nod to 1.21 right now but they've been known to not win games when it counted (see last season's final regular season game where a win got them in the playoffs...spoiler, they lost 45-17.

EASTERN Damn, I can't even type that without laughing.
1-3. Pony, DOTS, and HOOD all fighting for the top honors. They each play each of the other teams so we will have a side show on how this plays out.

4. Pride and Blaze will be battling for this spot with Hotties the slight favorite right now (plus they won the first game 52-9 and are a game up). They play round two in week 14 and that very well could dictate this position.

Until next time...reap it!
