Too many plays just don't work. Since the task of fixing everything seems daunting, instead fix a small number of them every season. My suggesstion is 20. Some Offense, some Defense.

Stobie's GLB2Scout site has enough Global Data for you to identify bad plays.

Fixing a small number of them each season will improve the gameplay over time.

Hanging weights from your "thingy" won't make it bigger...the issue will continue for you.

Bad plays meaning most screens? Or are we shooting for a +8 ypc on every single play in the book?

Duh! Every offensive play should for for 8+ypc and every defensive play should be an instasack. Seems legit.

Pretty sure he means those plays that don't work vs any offense/defensive call on the other side. Every play should have success if called against it's "kryptonite" call, but there are multiple plays that don't work regardless of the opposing call

What's your idea of success? 8+ ypc?

pass: yard per catch prob like 8-10 with 50% comp rate. run: yard per carry prob like 4-6

Remember, I'm talking about being called vs what should be an exposed defensive play call.

It goes both ways though too, there are far too many defensive plays that don't work against ANY PLAY CALL

Success is depending on many different things. If it's a pass with higher completion rate but fewer yards per catch. I find that to be a successful play. But it's known that there are many plays that just aren't good against anything is what the point is and renders the plays useless.

Ya but with the defense reacting and no routes or "sweet spots", it's not as noticeable.

What play in the defensive side isn't good versus any play call?

All the plays are dependant on the current sim. Sure there are plays you are always going to use because hey they work REALLY well.

Keep in mind you need to change sim mechanics to make these plays we deem, "terrible". Changing each play just means making all the routes the best routes in the game that screws with defensive coverage. Thus it isn't logical to go through and "fix" 10-20 plays a season. You have to change sim mechanics and plays start making sense.
