1. QB Rollout Rush Weak - The HB is useless as a blocker in this play. The QB needs to either fake right to give the HB time to get in front of the QB or the HB needs to start on the left side of the QB. In the below play, the HB has 99 sprinting and can never get in front of the QB.

2. add QB Rollout Rush Strong (don't understand why this wasn't added)

he does get out in front of him enough, but instead of getting the unblocked defender he sets the edge on a guy that might have been breaking a run block or maybe awareness wasn't enough for him to get the other guy instead and zoned in on the first guy. But he did get in front enough.

I disagree. He never got in front. Also he has 99 sprint. You shouldnt have to have 99 sprint to be a lead blocker.

Definitely didn't get out in front on that one.

Watch the LG. Your QB is too fast for him. He can't get outside to block for you either. So looks like your QB is too fast to utilize this play properly.

This thread isnt about the left guard. Its about the HB and how he is useless as a blocker in this play.

The HB should either start on the left side of the QB (if that is a legal formation) or the QB should run a counter by faking right, then going left, giving the HB time to run ahead of the QB.

He definitely got in front and then had to block a guy that broke the initial block

What's the point in making a post to complain about 1 thing, when instead can identify what is going on during the play as a whole and further find out if that play is good for your team or not, or even find what def plays it might be good against.

This is yet another example then of you believing everything should be built around your team set up.

I'm so sick of everybody downvoting my fucking suggestions. Down vote if it is a bad idea...not because you don't like me.

The HB is USELESS as a blocker on this play.

1. My HB has 99 sprinting!!! You think a HB with 80 sprint will ever get in front of my QB? Plus, I have also shown plays where he doesn't get in front of the QB. Why not just move the HB to the left side of the QB or make the QB counter or fake to the right to give the HB time to get in front.

HOW IS THIS ONLY HELPING MY TEAM WHEN ANY TEAM CAN RUN THIS DAMN PLAY!!!

AND.....Create a QB rollout to the right. How is this a bad idea? Put another play in the game is a bad idea???

Because this "defect" is about the HB blocking on the play. Just because the play as a whole is decent doesn't mean there aren't specific issues with it.

This. Around tick 30 the HB gets in front. ROLB War Machine breaks his block on WR4 Dr. Claw just as the HB hits the edge. The HB chooses to block War Machine (imminent threat) instead of continuing ahead to block FS Captain America. If Dr Claw could have held his block another couple ticks, the HB would have been in position to spring the QB free.

Didn't get in front but that may have been a function of the defense being called. I'm guessing here, but I suspect the HB couldn't figure out who the best person to block was and probably changed assignment multiple times, this not getting to full speed.

First off, I don't think people are downvoting your suggestions because they dislike you. They're downvoting your suggestions because they just aren't very well thought out or contain outright lies. In your first example you said the HB didn't get in front and he clearly did. That hurts your credibility so any future plays you add will also be scrutinized.

Second, do you have example of the play working well? Your first example was very close to being a big play but a block was broken. It happens. The second example was a good playcall which COULD have impacted the play. Your HB has 99 Sprinting but what is his Run Block and Lead Block Awareness? Perhaps its too high and he "saw" something that "could" be a threat and reacted. Perhaps its too low and he "missed" the right read. Maybe, and I know this may sound absurd, you don't know what's really going on behind the scenes. Perhaps the issue had nothing to do with the HBs sprinting.

Mind blown...just like the Death Star.

Oh, and perhaps QB Rollout Strong wasn't added because it was OP on the test server?
