I may be able to help him. If he goes to his retired players and finds a retired dot of that tier that didn't finish the season he can catch up and it counts to his total

He can just create a pup, play one pup game, convert the player, catch up, retire.

It's not a lack of points, he has a S*TE being used and basically forgot about him
