I think I would use the free player slots I earned on GLB2 more than GLB1 you should be able to convert them, they are basically worthless if you aren't using them, and it's sad when something free is worthless.

Most of us already have 2 free players. Doubt they are looking to beef that up to 3-4 free guys.
