I was wondering why our HB does this on almost every counter play. Is it a build thing or tactics issue?

I typically try to get quickness and footwork off of floor values to limit that type of thing from happening. Some counter plays seem more susceptible to it than others though.

It happens when you have a ton of speed and not enough footwork.

I thought that might be it, but didn't want to take it too high to find out it was not. Thanks!

I had the issue with Barry too. It's only on certain plays, which is weird, but I took footwork up to like 40 and liked the results better.

This was him in journeyman with FW probably at 20 or less and sprinting at 100:

This was vet with 40 FW and 100 sprinting:

I still have to laugh at how productive counters are as they rarely work in real life. But it comes and goes with playing a game versus RL

conclusion: both TD's so footwork doesn't matter?

35 is a good amount for footwork, it's what I run on my quickness-based speedsters.

So what does a guy do for a faster pitch from the QB? Is it footwork, sprint, quickness on a QB?

back in the stunners days - I used a lower tier QB with nothing but leadership really.

As a result I got to experiment with stuff like that. I never found any stat that would increase the speed on the scripted handoff/pitch.

I certainly tried all 3 of those.

i suppose you are right. Forgot I could really just look at Anonymoose and answer my own question with our speed QB.

fwiw, Drop Back Grip and Power don't change anything either from the looks of it.
