it's the only skill that improves broad jump and broad jump is like the best indicator of lower body explosion and athleticism, so you'd probably think it'd be really important for jumping the snap and acceleration

Yeah it does help with increasing tackle radius (so as GE says diving for the QB, but also on run plays as well), other stuff probably not or at least I haven't noticed a discernible difference - either way it's a tertiary skill imo: a little will help but not the sort of thing you want to invest a huge amount of SP in.

Agreed, kinda like vertical on CB's can be worth investing to 25-35 range, diving would be maybe the same on safeties or LB's, but not much more is really gonna make a difference

Was he ever gone? Seems he has had active players. Maybe just quit coaching?

I just never see him post anymore. I guess the same could be said about a lot of agents.

I like to invest diving on my DLineman to help increase their tackle radius to slow down RBs

i love the point kayoh makes that broad jump really is a key way of telling athletiscm in a player. but in this game i dont think it matters here. diving is good to have on some to like 30.

My DTs have diving in the 50s and his tackle numbers are up there with some of the better S*DTs, as are his sack/hurry numbers. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's really underrated on the defensive side of the ball

It's a great way to add on extra value to your build once you have maxed out your core skills like BRB,PRT,PRP,footwork, stamina, toughness, snap reaction, and gotten hold ground and quickness to around 50.
Ya know, after actually getting tackling skills too, and defensive consistency.
I mean, it's basically great, if you literally can't spend the points elsewhere at all. it does add value, just not enough to take away from these other skills.

keep going with that.
PRP as a main, ha.

If I touch PrP at all its only to 25 at most lol. Rather focus BrB, PrT, and movement myself. Seems to be working pretty good. Same for HG, not taking that past 50 until I see it is needed. Rather push BrB to 90 and not worry about the blocker staying on me long enough to cake me lol
But the diving thing has me wondering. My DT has issue with missed tackles. Some of them are him running 20 yards downfield then just diving on the ground lol. Was thinking maybe pursuit would help that but wondering if some investment in in diving would help more now

depends on the build style, I know PRT is the main route to go, but PRP isn't useless for interior linemen.
