Would a slot WR benefit more from quickness - footwork and balance? Maybe a cap of sprint at 60 or would he woefully slow to get open? Non S* - would try to maximize Rec Constancy, Hands and CIT... thanks for any advice.

Id say 80+ speed for WR3. Id start with 60 quickness with ok route tech. After that hands and consistency. Maybe even more speed if you can. Add quickness if you still need the boost off the line mostly IMO. As far as I can tell route tech and quickness do mostly the same thing during routes. Help you turn in breaks a little faster. My favorite routes are more downfield stuff
Keep in mind I only really attack mid to deep to WR3 myself.
Quick, footwork, and lower speed is more a WR1 type thing for me. Great routes and decent hands and some blocking. I like a little balance on all my WRs. But only really would invest in it a lot if running screens and that would be WR2.
And like Steve said Xars has likely done a test on this already. I'm just guessing on what works well for me lol

Fwiw, route tech and quickness do not work the same since the nerf/buff to quickness.

Those skills are more valuable now.

Yeah ive been trying to push a little more on quickness with some builds. Route tech I'm not sold on atm. Ive tried higher and tried little less and seems to act about the same. Maybe if I could push it even higher idk. Maybe something ill try soon.
I knew quickness got the buff to acceleration affect. But for WR I'm not sure it helps past getting off the line much. Why I say for WR3 I like speed better as they normally have more direct routes.
Quickness really shines for HBs imo. They stop and go a good deal more than a WR.
Route tech. Ive got guys with 70 and guys with 50 and see not much difference. Never pushed it past 80 and that was a good while ago since that guy. If I am going to push it higher at all it would only be for WR1. I think I will test it a bit. See what quick and route tech can do for a receiver. Might even have a legend WR with decent tech idk. Will check it out.

My Legend WR does have higher route tech at 86. He is also at 70 quickness. He seems to perform fine as a legend. He does play most all the WR1 snaps. Has 77 Sprint
I'm not sure what you guys are considering high quickness I guess. I only ever had one WR under 70. He is 65 with only 70 sprint and has 40 block tech and good balance. He also is performing fairly well at WR1 in pro last year and vet so far though weak teams.

if you watch the 2 speed WR's on Rusty in routes a bit, you can see where quickness to 100 with sprinting at 100 works out pretty well. Now, that being said I don't like either of those guys at WR3 because going that high with quickness doesn't allow for enough hands and CIT to be in the middle of the field that often.
