I'm currently building a blitzing LB

Pursuit 85
Def Consistency 42

Conditioning 34
Balance 31
Footwork 30
Toughness 30

Snap Reaction 79
Heart 30

SA = First Step, Closing Speed, Showboat
Trait = Egotist, Blitzer, Tactician

is this build viable as a blitzing LB?
any other recommended blitzing LB build?

You really don't want 34 Conditioning.

You don't need virtually any Blitz Awareness (nor Pursuit) as a Pass Rushing LB. You need it on Blitzes to react to the run.

You need at least 70 conditioning to maintain speed for the game.

So,, i need higher conditioning then??
Blitz awareness n pursuit at minimum or none at all?
Do i need to level up any pass coverage or pass rushing skills?

This guy is ideal IMO, enough run defense skills to be an every down LB but speed and conditioning for days...not sure why no one needs him.

How important has Intimation become to the defense and blitzing

I don't bother with Intim much. I agree that Conditioning needs to be 50 at absolute minimum. As D'Haran Empire kinda proved the last few seasons, Strip doesn't work and if you want FF, then Pow Tckling is more effective at causing the FF when getting QBS. I wouldn't put any SP into Strip at all, yet I like Blitz Aw -- maybe 40-50.

While it is only in Rookie, I do happen to have a LB on a team that I GM that is doing well at forcing fumbles and has points in strip but not in power tackling
