Who is the best Dual Threat QB in GLB history? Let's see some numbers. I just made an awesome one using Stobie's Tool.

I will be using him in my next reset. Dude is a beeaassstt!

What is the highest stamina any drop back or dual threat QB has had? I am targeting 80. My PUP dual threat QB is doing pretty damn well right off the bat with high stamina and footwork.

Half way through rookie, 11 scrambles this game.

He had a 16 scramble game not too long ago.

His SA is Tuck and Ruh

80 conditioning is fine, but 90 is best if he's going to be running a lot.

Tuck and Run is a waste, IMO. OTR is the first SA you want to use.

i remember tezed or something like that had a solid one back in the day.

I have a bit of a dual threat guy on my Flint team and I know bodiddley has made a couple of solid dual guys right now

Crap. Forgot about that SA. I will gold OTR and Tuck and Run. That +20 to sprint, quick, grip is awesome....and it lasts the entire play.

tezed's was alright but i don't think that would really work in this era. The pitch game is so great that everyone is ready for that kinda stuff. You need an actual run threat at QB to be really good. Either really fast or really powerful.

Quite frankly, I don't think it can be done. Almost impossible to build a S* QB as a pure elusive runner (which is sad considering the overlap on passing skills with agility), very difficult to build a pure power runner, and very expensive to build a pure physicals runner.

Basically, your only options are power runner, which means your attributes are all wrong for passing skills, or a physicals runner, which means you have almost no SP left for passing skills even though the caps aren't awful.

Which means, if you want a real dual threat, you can't build an elite runner. And I would ask myself, what is the point of having a non elite runner? Just build a pocket passer or a pure runner.

I don't know. My S* build ends with 70 sprint, 40 footwork, 79 stamina, 79 accuracy, 80 consistency, and 80 technique. Pretty well rounded.

This guy is the obvious answer. One of the fastest players in the game and also throws for 150/game. Not even a S*, so the build could obviously be even better.

Have to disagree somewhat. It's very possible to make even a non S* QB who can be an elite runner, and quality passer. The big mistake people make is they try to build dual QBs like they would a RB. The physicals on Tecmo Cam aren't all that great http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/198449 , but his SP is targeted to the skills that matter for a scrambler.

I'd like to see how you've built him... I've experimented with a few Passing/Scrambler builds and liked the results.

The only thing I can see that I don't like is Slow Built...that is the worst thing to pick in the game, IMO.

How in the hell does he have an 80% completion and has invested zero SPs into passing and 26 TDs and 1 INT???

I don't know I've messed with a shit ton of builds on Stobie's virtual player and it's virtually impossible to do half the things I want to do without slow built.
