Seeing as they buffed Wide Open Receivers why dont they do the same for Defenders? would make it even dont you think?

By this i mean that if a Defender has a pass thrown at him and he is wide open he should have the same chance to catch the thing as Receivers do.

I wouldn't say the same chance, they play defense because they cant catch, atleast WRs have invested some in catching skills. Now a Cb with high INT could make the argument for more wide open INts.

The problem is we can't see what is really going on because the replay is just a general image of the actual sim. What looks wide open might be a pass behind or ahead of the WR. Maybe over their head or low. Defensively what generally looks wide open is a defender probably just getting a hand on a pass.

Because the sim is tracking where people's hands are...

No, but it is tracking high/low and errant throws. GLB1 tracked tipped passes so I don't see why GLB2 wouldn't.

I absolutely hate that phrase. But I do agree with high INT for wipe open interceptions. There has to be some kind of correlation there.

Its pretty true in real life and the game. I covered High school, College and Pro football in Florida for 12 years and the defense always sucked at catching. Its pretty rare to have great hands on defense.

I played both ways in high school. SS and TE. I can catch a ball, but we were an all run team, so you wouldn't know it watching me play.

I think we had 2 passing plays my entire senior season. Both incomplete.
