GG Bulldawgs! You guys were calling run plays left and right but I was glad we were able to fight back and tie the game to force you guys to pass that gave us better field position. Love that blitzing of yours! We got lucky on a few of them.

Week #7 game(s) of interest!

Black Hand vs. Holland Pinoy All Stars
- Probably the biggest match of the week will be this one. The winner here will be the odds on favorite to win the league. Black Hand has been destroying teams in their league games and seems to be ready for this titanic match. While Holland, struggled quite a bit in two of its last three league games. Holland needs to bring their A game this week if not then its back to the drawing boards.

Quick mid-season review
So here were are mid-season, and now here's my review of teams.

Elite
Holland Pinoy All Stars (8-0) - Undefeated but three of those wins were very close ones. If not for their defense coming up with timely turnovers, they'd sporting three losses instead of a bagel loss after eight games. Of their remaining 8 games, there are only three that may give them trouble (vs Roy Hodgson needs to answer for his crimes, vs Hispania Pride, and vs Kansas City Crossfire).

Prediction:
- They go 16-0 during the regular season and first seed throughout the playoffs.

Black Hand (7-1) - A close loss to Holland puts them at second seed. Their offense and defense are rock strong. Of their remaining games, the more challenging ones are against Hispania Pride and Sheps Bulldawgs. The game that interests me the most will be the Hispania game, if Black Hand falls on this game then the Sheps game will determine the Western conference's top seed.

Prediction:
- They go 15-1 and get the first seed in the Western conference playoffs.

Hispania Pride (7-1) - Another team that's hugging behind Holland for the first seed for the playoffs. Hispania has been playing really hard and good. Their game plan was spot on against Holland but timely turnovers gave the win to Holland. They will get another chance at Holland in week #14, though my gut tells me it will another close game but they falter at the end. They do have a couple more tough games (vs Sheps Bulldawgs, vs Black Hand, and vs Kansas City Crossfire) before they go up Holland so they shouldn't plan ahead.

Prediction:
- They get 2nd seed in the East with a 13-3 record

Almost Elite
Sheps Bulldawgs 6-2 - Pretty good team and has a chance to be the Western conference's top seed if Black Hand falters in one of their tough remaining games. They put up a good game against Black Hand and gave Holland all it can get so come playoffs time they're a team to watch out! They do have a chance to avenge their early season loss against Black Hand so better keep an eye on this one! Though they have to worry about this week's game against very tough Hispania team.

Prediction:
- Second seed in the West with 12-4 record

Middle tier
Kansas City Crossfire 5-3 - They are destroying teams that they are supposed to be dominating BUT getting crushed by the elite teams. Their levels suggests that they should be able to compete against the elite teams but somehow with just the owner running every thing may just be too much of an effort.

Prediction:
- Third seed in the East with 10-6 record

Roy Hodgson needs to answer for his crimes 5-3 - Just like KC, they've been crushing teams that they're supposed to be beating BUT they too are being destroyed by the elite teams. They're really similar to KC with the owner running everything with the exception of them lacking depth.

Prediction:
- Third seed in the West with 9-7 record

Week #9 game(s) of interest!

Holland Pinoy All Stars vs. Roy Hodgson needs to answer for his crimes
- First quarter will be quite close, a problem area for Holland so if Roy can somehow grab this chance to put points then they must do it at this point of the game. If Roy can't put some distance against Holland then they blown away as early as the second quarter.

Hispania Pride vs. Sheps Bulldawgs
- Both these teams are pretty darn good, both have tremendously good rush offense and with a tough defense to back it up. This game will be very close and will be decided by which defense will create more havoc and cause turnovers. Both teams need a win on this game to compete for the first seed in their conference.

Week #10 game(s) of interest!
Roy Hodgson needs to answer for his crimes vs. Kansas City Crossfire
- Roy is looking to get back to their winning groove when they go up against KC. Its going to be close but if Roy's defense shows up just like it did against Holland then they win this in a close one. KC will need to win this for them to still be in contention for a spot in the playoffs.

Black Hand vs. Hispania Pride
- After a tough week #9 match, Hispania plays another tough one or rather a tougher one against probably the second best team in the league (based on team records). Both team's have incredible defense (top ranked in their conference) so expect a low scoring game with lots of three and outs. Both will use their main weapon on offense and that is the ground game, the winner here will be decided by who gets more air when they decide to pass the ball. Hispania needs to win this if they lose they won't catch Holland for the top seed in the East.

Week #12 game(s) of interest!
No interesting games this week! We can expect the favorites to win again this week.
Though, it will to see what's the outcome of the race for rush yards and rush TDs this season.
Its a tight race, less than 60 yards separate the leader and fourth place for the #1 rush yards.
While the rush TDs, Spread-em Offense 2.0 is battling it out against Jaime I El Conquistador.

As for the passing yards and passing TDs, looks like Brett Favre is pulling away with the passing TDs title.
He has a less than 500 yards edge in the passing yards against Candice Boucher.

Week #14 game(s) of interest!
Probably the biggest game left this season! Holland is coming to the Osborne Arena to try to keep its unblemished record and stay on course of the #1 seed throughout the playoffs.
We saw that in week 5 when Holland hosted the Pride that they almost lost if not for timely turnovers by their defense.
Both teams passing offense were scuttled by each other's defense. High scoring Brett Favre was still scuttled by the tough Hispania defense that harassed him to a 10/29 passing and 1 passing TD while Rodrigo _ was slammed by Holland's terrific pass rush taking in 5 sacks, 7 hurries and throwing an interception.
Lost in the heap of the terrific pass defense brought by both teams was the lack of defense on the ground. Hispania's rushers carried the ball 47 times, 239 rush yards and 1 rush TD while Holland rushed 33 times and 122 yards. Both teams averaged more than 3+ ypc so I suspect that more focus will be on the ground and pound offense in this game.
Who wins this? Obviously, I own Holland so I pick them! He he he.... But kidding aside, I think if Holland's receivers get enough separation it will be a tough one for Hispania who I believe will try to go and control the clock via their power running game. I don't think that Hispania will try to match Holland's passing because Holland's pass rushing is really amazing.
Simply put it, if Hispania's defense must stop Holland's offense and not make any turnovers then they win this game. If not, Holland wins.
