We should be able to sign and cut a player.. much like your fantasy football lineup.. The program should know if you have 20k in cap space and your cutting 500k in salary AND you wan to sign a 520K player you have the space.. just give you the a drop down box on wbo you want to cut... instead of signing a CPU player, cut your player and hope and pray the dot you want is still available.

If I try to make an offer to a G, it says I have $X headroom to sign him with. But I don't. One of those CPU Gs will be auto cut the same second a new G makes an offer, because I can't have 6 Gs.
So my suggestion is, in a situation like this where a CPU will be auto cut, add the CPU salary to the cap space when calculating salary head room.
(as an aside, when you could take 2 Ks, it was a bit easier to do stuff like this, but now you can't and salary caps weren't adjusted upwards to compensate iirc)

Would be nice if you could assign a human player to be auto cut as well if right up against the salary cap on those rare occasions.
