Has a mod ever said what this does? It obviously makes the QB throw deeper. Does it hurt your completion % on short or med passes?

You should put more points in your vision, because the same thread was started three down from this one.

If your offense has a lot of deep pass % set, favor long passes works. If not, it doesn't.

I don't think it would hurt your completion % on short and medium passes, you would just throw less of them. I think it is far more likely that it affects your QB's decision making instead of pass quality at different ranges. Think of it kind of like having a favorite target, your QB will be more willing to throw into coverage to get the ball to him even though another target may have been a little more open. I think it is the same thing only you favor receivers that are further down field and will be more willing to take chances on them. Your overall pass completion % would probably drop and you may throw more INTs but it does open up the possibility for more yardage and big plays. This is probably an option best used later on as QBs start getting the ability to throw 30 and 40 yard passes accurately.

Why are people like this?
I am sorry I spammed on your boards. Why don't you write a nice FAQ and have the mods sticky it so this does not happen again?
