I remember in original GLB there was a certain day where you made your rookies for the following season to get the most out of your build? What day is that here on GLB2? I plan on making several as soon as possible.

It is different here. Players gain SP by playing in games and only play games during the season. If you were to find a team in need of a player mid season you could also build an experienced player and be on the same page as every other player with the exception of team chemistry which will raise as games are played and may not be a big deal depending on the position and how badly a team were to need a replacement.

You can have player sitting as free agents with out fear of losing a season

Im starting to build my rookie players now for next season. I wont sign them until the offseason but they will have been built early in advance

The real only thing is chem which iznt huge and wont effect outside of one year. Plus every one starts with at best 50 so it effects every one

Saturday morning?

Really though, like they said, anytime is good as long as they don't gain XP they can sign to a rookie team.
