Huge game with lots of implications and a rivalry to boot. 1980s have been on fire, winning 6 in a row. This will be 3 out of 4 tough league games as they put away Whoville and Jedi Order in recent weeks. Skeletor is starting to come alive and the defense has been stout, giving up an average of 4 PPG in their last 7 games.
Fury has been red hot as well, especially in league play where they have won 4 in a row since AirMcMVP has filled out the roster. Can their defense stop Skeletor? Can their running offense gain many yards and convert on key 3rd downs?
Prediction: Fury and 1980s have been talking smack since the preseason. Luck put them in the same league but guts and determination will decide the winner. This will be a hard fought battle but in the end, 1980s Run Stuffers will prevail and take the first battle in this great war.

Pasadena Rebels vs Northland Reavers
This game couldn't have come at a better time for Northland. They need a win to keep pace with Whoville and keep the red hot Fury off their heels. They are coming off a 21-7 loss to The Simpsons in league play and hope to turn it around. A shutout in their recent ladder game might give them the confidence they need.
The Rebels are 0-6 in league play....oof.
Prediction: Northland gains some confidence back as they lay the wood to a dead Rebels team.

Los Angeles Pain vs Whoville Whos
Whoville keeps...well you know the rest. I mean really? This hodgepodge team of CPUs and a few OSIRIS players is tough as nails. They just beat the Kiwi's in ladder play and are currently #4 in the ladder...wow.
This guy knows how to coach. He is a coach of the year candidate right now.
LA Pain is something else. This is the most enigmatic team I have seen. They have beat some good teams but have also had some terrible showings. Who will show up? They need this game bad to keep pace with Jedi Order.

Prediction: I am calling it now. Pain takes down the mighty OSIRIS and Whoville! Pain has the coaching staff and players to make this happen.

The Jedi Order vs PAIN NATION MIDGETS
Jedi Order...my, how the mighty have fallen. A once great organization is reeling and looking for answers. A team that was suppose to compete for the ladder championship is now hoping to land a playoff spot. They have lost 3 out of their last 4...ouch! Goods news is they are still in 1st place in Gamma.
Pain Nation has a good coach but unfortunetly they have a shitty roster.
Prediction: Jedi Order gets their act together and stays in control of 1st place in Gamma with a solid victory.

The Knights have an experienced owner and are 6-6 overall, but only 1-5 in league play. That isn't very intimidating.
The Simpsons are another team who resume is all over the place. A couple of good wins but several losses as well
Prediction: The Simpsons take care of business and try to keep in the playoff picture.

Blue Ridge is trying to keep up with 1980s and this game should help them out. Last league game was a great win for them as they downed LA Pain. However, they lost their last ladder game to Mafia. They need a rebound win.
