Alpha

Game of the Week!!!
Northland Reavers vs Whoville Whos
Northland will look to right the ship after a shutout loss to Colorado Springs in their ladder game. That defense is stout, giving up only 7 points in 4 games. Whoville is #1 in rookie and coming off a HUGE win over Atlantic City Hookers. This is a tough call...as both are playing lights out. Going into the season, I thought Alpha was the weakest division in our league. Now it looks like they might be the strongest division in Rookie. I am calling the upset here. I think Northland's defense shows up and the Reavers take over sole possession of 1st place in Alpha.

PAIN NATION MIDGETS vs Fury
The Midgets are struggling right now, losing their last 2 match ups by a combined 38 points. Fury is coming off a 28-0 victory in ladder and has won 2 of it last 3. It looks like AirMcMVP is back and breathing life into a once dead organization. Fury takes the Midgets to the woodshed and puts their eyes on Whoville.

Beta

Columbus Knights vs Pasadena Rebels
The Rebels are struggling....bad....on offense. Struggling might be an understatement. They have scored 3 points in 4 games...ouch. The Knights offense isn't much better but they are coming off a ladder victory and look to keep the winning streak alive. This will be an ugly game but Knights win, 7-3.

1980s Run Stuffers vs Blue Ridge Moonshine Club
Battle for 1st place in Beta. This will be a good one. 1980s are playing well, putting away Erie 28-6 in their ladder game, and riding a 2 game winning streak. The defense is in full form, only giving up 6 points in the last 2 games. Blue Ridge is coming off a heart breaking loss to #3 San Diego Bolts and looks to right the ship. Blue Ridge has been looking for offense all season and can't find it, getting shut out in 2 of their 4 games. Unless they find something on offense, look for the Run Stuffers to stuff them. 1980s take sole possession of 1st in Beta after this game.

Gamma

Anchorage Ninja vs The Jedi Order
The Jedi Order vs a team full of CPU players....no good for Anchorage. Jedi by 35.

The Simpsons vs Los Angeles Pain
The Simpsons are on fire, beating Odessa Roar and Jedi Order in back to back games. They might have the toughest SOS to date in rookie. In their victories, the defense has been solid and the offense productive. On the other hand, the LA Pain are in pain. Although they just won their ladder game, they still tied an all CPU team in Anchorage. I don't see them righting the ship this week. The Simpsons stay on fire and take the victory, keeping sole possession of 1st place in Gamma.

I know The Pain are off to a rough start, but I'm seeing a tough team that we're gonna have our hands full with this week.
Last week's matchup of the week going against The Jedi's proved to why it was chosen game of the week.

Fuck rookie. I can't wait until I can run up the middle against this bullshit C1 Wide Dogs spam. My player's stamina is up...now it is time to pump run block tech.

I'm sorry but I got RNG'd to death. A couple of 5 stars played only fired once...combined while some 3 star plays fired multiple times.

I thought the loss to Whoville would really come back to haunt Fury. The fact they ran the division definitely works in our favor (assuming the difference between CPU and human players starts coming into play).

Reavers/Fury/Whoville could be interesting in the final three games of the season.

Yeah...Alpha and Gamma will be interesting. Beta is a 2 team race.

Yes GG. I know a lot of things had to go my way to win and I was fortunate. Eventually I won't be able to compete with some of these teams because a)I am still learning and B) my lack of SS* players. I plan to reset again at season's end as I have many more loses yet to go in order to learn the game.
