I want to get a S*FS but not very many out there, many more S*SS...do you think the OOP would be too much? I don't/haven't seen much of one when I play the reg guys swapping those spots. Thoughts?

I don't think its that much of a penalty myself, but maybe someone whose played longer might know more than me.

Fury frequently has 2 non-S* FSs on the field, often when the SS moves to a LB position or comes out due to energy. I haven't noticed a major difference in play.

I think it's about a 10% hit.

Nope. I remember Corndog saying some % around 10 a long time ago.

I won't take the time to dig through threads but I remember it used to be a 5% hit. Then Corndog raised the penalty many seasons ago but didn't clarify exactly how much of an increase it was. I'd say 10% is a safe guess.
So if you got the cap room I'd pull the trigger for a star even out of position if it's your best option.

well we replaced your strip tech SS, now I want to replace my strip tech FS haha...the LBs are fine with it but too much SP for the safeties to be balanced.

Megatron plays LB in our 4-4 defense. He seems to be playing fairly well OOP.

Is strange how we can use LBs in DE spot, they don't share many skills but BRB.

You can. You just can't put a DE at NT. You cannot use a DT at DE though.
