Make it fire 100% of the time on Gold. It is ridiculous that it only fires 50% of the time on Gold with how seldom it will get fired in a season. If you are top notch CB and you get 12 INT in a season, you are looking at it firing 6 times in one season if you hit the average.

"Catching a pass while not jumping or diving"

It only fires after the INT is made if the player is not jumping or diving. And there are no negative effects. You must be eye balling a different SA.

On top of the suggestion I made, I say make the SA help the CB make the INT by giving him +15 to INT before the int is made.

you're right. SA is so bad there probably hasn't ever been anyone who invested in it.

That would require you to have 100 Balance. Since corners would never get balance that high, it would fire a lot less. Since you can't be jumping or diving, it fires even less. Since a lot of interceptions happen with the WR/TE in the immediate area, you'd get tackled before it can do anything.

Sum total, the SA needs a massive rework not just bumping the fire rate up to 100%.

Pick 6 should:

Automatically pass balance checks
Give you a bonus to interception when facing the ball and moving towards it
Not be powered by Balance

Ideally, imo, it should be powered by a combo of quickness/footwork, activation is still 50%. It ties in well with First Step SA. It mimics ball hawking CB behavior in real life where they back pedal with eyes on the QB, then break towards the ball when the throwing motion starts.

Might be fun if you added some kind of LARGE boost to INT skill when defending a hurried pass (or something like that)

For GE, you could call it the "Master Baiter" trait.
