I want an opinion on this build.

Questions:

1- I want to take this confidence point and use elsewhere, should i put in awareness for better tackling, man awar. and pursuit? Strenght for PT, and T.Grip? Or stamina?
2- Is contain expert any good?
3- Is 90 BRB too much? is 87 T.Tech enough?

Use the confidence point in stamina.

Gold Shed Block. Remove Contain Expert.

Do i need some cover tech to at least follow TEs and HBs? Or quick + foot can do the job? Of course considering that he won't be Cover speciallyst neither LOLB.

You can't defend everything, but with his hitting power he should get a decent amount of knocked lose vs the pass... that is I'm assuming by the build that this is a MLB and not a Coverage type.

Yes, MLB run focus, but i just want to know if without any coverage the TEs will always be open, or quick+footwork is enought to at least follow them and try to knock loose. I know he will lose most of the matchups, specially against S*s, as you said he cant do everything. So i shoudn't spent any points in it CT right?

If he's a true MLB, he'll usually play a soft zone cover and won't have too many man-to-man matchups.

My thoughts:

Instead of 2 Cap Boosters on Power Tackling, I'd put them into Tackle Grip and max it at 72 - option 1.
I'd drop the Blitz Awareness to minimum. Edge LBs Blitz and even they only need BA if they are Run Blitzing.
Def Consistency - option 2 for the Cap Boosters - taking this to 62.
Man and some Zone Awareness is good. I'd use some of those Power Tackling points saved above and put them in Deflecting.
Intimidation of 50 is too much for the current meta, in my view. Take it to min and use the points in Toughness. Not sure you need even 40 Snap as a MLB, though it's cheap.
Maybe a little Vertical and/or Diving - like 20-25.

I'd drop the Contain Expert and pump Shed Block to Gold.

Blitz Awareness can still be nice, if you plan on blitzing inside vs teams that can run there. Put him at MLB in 3-3-5 for Over Will and he should help a bit in case of inside runs. I think I'd take a cap booster off of Power Tackling and put that towards Conditioning, he's a Superstar you don't want to sub him out.

Agreed with Xars on Intimidation. Drop that to zero. I'd drop Snap Reaction to zero too. 81 speed isn't enough to really threaten as a blitzer, so don't bother with Snap.

The last cap i can put on cond or tackle grip, i'll analise his performance in game when the time comes.

So does nobody invest in Intimidation anymore...at all?

Pretty much no, unless you're trying to get some SA's to fire for a blocking FB, or an exclusive ST returner.

Gravitation has made the affect of intimidation smaller, and very few positions have consistent interactions with the same dots to keep opposing morale down for a long period, and the cost of intim both in SP costs, and in initial attributes, as it requires high strength, confidence, and weight. If the sim switched back to a system without gravitation, it could be a worthwhile investment, or even a system with less gravitation to the mean.

Right now it just isn't paying off in the sim enough to justify the investment.

Intimidation needs a bigger impact. I used to have a HEAVY Intimidation focused team (HAHA 1.0). Right now, it's imo a waste of SP.

LZ Boys had a lot of Intimidation on both the OLine and DLine. It helped on the OLine because I slowly drained energy and really slowed down the Spin Cycle's after the First Quarter.

But I'm with AZ. Intimidation got nerfed pretty hard with gravitation and now it's basically a zero investment for me.

Behind the Meta again, GE. Better start drawing up Plan Q!

So I am only investing in Intimidation on my blockers. They are getting about 45 each. If I control the clock and "lean" on the defenders, it should drain their energy and confidence. My block tech and block power are already so high, those SPs invested in intimidation seem used better than adding another 5 or so to block power.
