The ladder system need revamped it is supposed to be competitive game against other teams. Why in the world is the whole seasoned tier playing top journeymen team and now pro teams these games for the most part are not very competitive and no fun. There are several seasoned teams we will not play this season that we are competing for position against how does this make any sense?!?!?! Come on glb let's use some common sense here??? Seasoned tier is frustatrating and not fun in these ladder games.

Let me paraphrase for you:

Ladder is suppose to be about global ranking (all tiers) not tier ranking.

I agree with you. I think the ladder should be about who the best is in your tier.

They describe it as competitive games not so much. They do allow teams to play other teams twice in tiers for ladder games if that's what it takes then so be it. Next year once we hit journeymen we will play teams down I'm sure but I don't want to do that either. I like the Rivalries with other teams in your tier it would make it even better if you played them multiple times.

Ladder has always sucked like that. It is what it is.

Believe it or not, it's actually a lot better than it used to be. Main issue right now imo is that there aren't enough teams any more.

This. Most tiers past sophomore have less than 5 or 6 teams that can compete for the top spot. If you force in-tier match ups, teams will have to play each other multiple times a season or the top teams get virtual byes against lower rated in-tier opponents.

It's hard for a team playing up a tier to win but it happens. Two tiers is worse but there are rare upsets when that happens, too.

I have less of a problem with playing up as the punishment it obviously has on the ladder rungs. We admittedly have one bad loss to a same tier team, but the body of work does not make us a 7th ranked team in our tier. Nor does our close games with the j-man tier as a seasoned team. What has burned us is 10 losses with 1-5 against J-man teams while teams above us in the ladder have played CPU teams in j-man and their losses have been considerably less competitive meaning the score has no impact on the rankings.

The ladder is broken in that the top teams in seasoned and above leagues are not getting the same opponents to even out the opportunities. It is also broken that the ranking system is not a truly connected system based on margin of victory or defeat like sagarin. We joke among our team that we don't get a break, put together great game plans, and watch our ladder ranking fall with a last minute defeat to a top ranked team from a higher tier while another team moves ahead with a easy victory over a CPU team. It is bad enough we get the 25%+ SP hit taking on the higher tier team and then to watch how it isn't fairly distributed along similarly ranked teams among the same tier. Maybe it will all even out by the end. We will see.

Yes we have played up 10 times as of tomorrow last two pro teams and not cpu. We had that khans last game tomorrow the rips. We have only played 4 teams in our tier in ladder games. We havent played any top teams in our tier hardly the first ladder game was in our tier because it was the first game this is getting ridiculous some teams in our tier have played up way less than us we were ranked 5 in our ladder people up actually got teams in our tier wtf. Haha, Bloody Slaughterhouse are other teams affected by this as well. To be honest losing games im our tier fine we feel we can play with any team within our tier we have losses but havent been blown out and thats cool are competitive. Its not about losing the complaining ive been doing its about competing. If we have too play up lets us play lower teams that would be more competitive. Its to hard plying a top team a tier or two above ridiculous !!! This is the shit that makes people want to quit i deal with all the other crap this is a back breaker.how is any of our rankings an indicator of how well we have done in our tier bahahaha 4 games 4!!!!!!! oh and yes deevee8 and his overpowered power backs which are amazing by the way just saying everyone know power backs are redonk and needs nerfed bad so yes with a overpowered power back i can see that lol.
