They are dominating now and I know when I decide to reset again that's what I'm rolling. If you can't beat them, join them.

Honestly, I believe the current crop of rookie teams will rely on a this type of strategy. You just have to be careful, though. If the meta shifts too much, the devs will make some changes the bring the game back into a semblance of balance.

Basically its just spam the RB outside Right and Left from Trips and BI, throw in case of emergency. No strategy at all. Hell, some teams don't even bother to scout for defense because the RB's are so OP now.

Yep, pretty much.

I love having a good running game for a balanced attack, so it pained me to even make this thread. Its not just your team, there are a lot of the teams doing it and all the resets are doing it. Pretty much in the next few seasons thats all that the game will be. I am for sure rolling one in 2 to 3 seasons, I just want to see what my current end builds look like in Vet first.

The only way to stop this from happening would be to put a max on how high you can take conditioning and I doubt that will happen.

I'm already building a template for my next HB and a base playbook. There's no need for me to spend a lot of time trying to build a good defensive strategy if there is no way to stop the meta and I'm more than willing to adapt to keep up with the Jones'.

My new defense is gonna shut down anybody's running game. I already have a good run defense, they just need more conditioning and toughness. Build your defense to stop the outside run. It's easier to stop outside runs with zone though.

A good defense is not one sided, GE. I've had a top 5 defense for well over a year now, so I know a little about what I'm talking about.

And just to be clear, I wish I'd thought of this build. Damn, LOL.

its not exactly a new thing, many backs relied on high con/sprint (jimbo) and many others took notice a while back. it's just becoming a trend since so many people are now openly sharing builds on the forums now when in the past those things were more kept under wraps

I don't keep up anymore -- who are the teams with these unstoppable run games?
