Can a player ask to be released from a CPU team? How?

Any player on a CPU team can be signed by a human owned team.

If you are signed with a CPU team you can accept contracts from any human controlled team. If you want to retire your player you have to sign with a human team and then have them cut you.

I might be able to assist with the latter.

Probably trying to play 2 games in 1 day so they can skip a tier.

Im ready to leave the game,not because of playing time or anything like that,i was quite happy playing for a team called shanghi and was happy to be on a human team well i made the big mistake of asking how do i make my player better? i never seen so many people bitch at me and the next thing im thrown off the team because i answered them with,"im quite happy doing what im doing i just want some tips cause im a newbie" BAM! they kicked me off the team,i still dontknow why,oh well---anybody needs a halfback who doesent complain johhnywadd is open for all offers and all teams,thanks guys ):

There's a way to get levelled up faster, but you have to get an extra game, than catch up in the offseason.

lol, that is a bizarre reaction. I love it when agents ask for help on any team I am on, and furthermore I don't get upset if they ignore my opinion.

That's not the norm. Asking for help is something everything should do more of.

Plenty of people will sign a player from an attentive agent who just wants to get better.

Don't quit. Stay.

There are, unfortunately, some that don't play well with others. I don't quite understand that since this is a social game but, it is what it is.
