- You can now purchase up to two more pickup players for a total of 3. The original pickup player is still free as usual.
- Pickup players can now be converted to a normal player if you are willing to pay a fee based on their level. Higher level players cost more to convert, in order to discourage large-scale skipping of lower tiers and empty rookie leagues.
- Career boosts are now only available after a player hits level 20, to keep new players from purchasing them before they understand what they do
- Added a few links here and there to help new players find the FAQ forum
- Fixed TE count for pickup games to always assign 2 instead of 1, to keep 2TE sets from having weird substitution patterns
- Fixed another bug with certain player names causing a 500 error on replay page

So what's the fee per tier?

One of these replaces the button for saving the addition of points to skills... how does that save now?

You can convert a Pickup Player to a Normal Player at any time for 20 flex points per level he has reached. Free Pickup Players will also require their base position creation cost if you do not have a Free Player slot available. Flex Points spent on conversion, except for position creation costs, are NOT refunded when the player is retired.

Converting your player will free up his pickup player slot so you can make another.

This process is PERMANENT, so make sure you really want to convert your player before doing it!

The button should disappear and be replaced by the save/cancel buttons in the same spot as usual when you start spending points. I haven't seen any issues in my testing, but definitely let us know if you run into any.

I didn't have any issues other than I don't like the placement. On my iPad, I hit Save and then next thing I see is the FAQ.

Could you place it in the middle of the bar? That way vets like me can consciously ignore it but for new players it's front and center.

Something I was thinking about Bort is bring back forum search. I know across site that it's probably not viable with the way the dB is setup and such, but what about per forum id? That would at least allow searching through FAQ much easier or main page.

This is an awesome feature. It really helps teams at higher levels who have a few screwed up builds.

20 flex per level to switch a pup. That's hardly expensive. I'd imagine 'large-scale skipping of lower tiers' is going to be the norm for established teams... hardly discouraging at all for agents that last more than a week.

There are 5 levels per tier so it's 100 FLEX per tier and you don't get the 30% credit upon retirement. You still need to buy boosts too.

So a PUP-Vet conversion is 500 FLEX (no credit) and then all SP boosts.

I see it happening but I don't see it as a discouragement to New Agents creating new Players and going up Tiers the normal way.

I think it is good if you messed up 2 or 3 builds and need to replace them at a high level. You won't be replacing an entire team.

I just started playing a few weeks ago, and as a new player, I can tell you that I really did wish there was some method of forum searching.
